I chased up the windows company and they said a voicemail was left on my phone this morning to let me know they'd been delayed and would be here tomorrow morning at 8.30. There isn't a message on my mobile so assume it's on my home phone, which I never use, it's not even plugged in. Oh well, time to put the curtains back up for the night.

How annoying,surely if your phone isn't plugged in they wouldn't have been able to leave a message anyway 😟

That’s the second time recently a message has been left on my house phone. I don’t give the number out as a rule but I must’ve given it to the window company, why I don’t know. I’ll make sure it’s plugged in just in case. 

The snow is thawing now.

Can’t remember who you told about the platinum magazine got a voucher out of the newspaper yesterday for a free one got it today just the type of magazine I like plenty to read think  I might subscribe to it just had a quick look but it will keep me going the rest of the week

I’ve booked Friday off as a day’s leave so a nice short week. Friday is also payday, not that I can go anywhere, a pub lunch would’ve been nice. I’ve spoken to my manager about going for promotion today and she’s going to help me in any way she can. There have been quite a few higher grade jobs come up recently that are more or less what I’m doing now so makes sense to throw my hat in the ring. My mission for this year anyway.
