Send some sunshine this way please. Grey skies and showers here. Weather forecast says we are to get some snow later which I can well believe with how cold it is outside.5

Something really weird happened earlier, a bloke knocked on the door looking for a parcel that had been mis-delivered. Apparently a neighbour suggested he ask me 🤔 I told him about my fiasco and suggested he contact the company or courier as it shouldn’t be up to him to run around looking for it.
One of the peppers I ordered from Mr M was black and mouldy, how the picker could’ve missed that I don’t know. Anyway all sorted and I’m getting a refund.I finally plucked up the courage to use the pressure cooker function on the Ninja and did Mr SA’s chicken and potatoes. It cooked in next to no time and he said it was very tender. I’m glad I bought it although someone who cooks the same meal for more than one person would get much better use out of it. Will be good when I have some room in my freezer for batch cooking.
The airer takes a while to dry things but is doing its job. I suppose it would be quicker with fewer things on it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Glad the airer arrived SA. Will be interested to hear about how well it dries etc xx

If you can work it out I would be interested to know how much it costs to dry a load of washing or how much energy the airer uses so that I can compare it to the washer dryer consumption.
The washer dryer we currently have costs about 10p to do a wash only load or 40p to do a wash and dry of a load so about 30p to get dry washing each time.5 -
Morning all 😁
This is the heated airer I bought. It takes a while to dry clothes though, some still not dry from yesterday, although I did switch it off overnight and there are quite a few heavy clothing items on it like jeans and joggers. I bought a cheap one in case I didn't like it. Not 100% sure about it at the moment. I'll see how I get on with it but am tempted to think about a washer dryer for next winter as my washing machine is past its best and will need replacing at some stage.
Should be NSD 3 today, no need to buy anything. Will need to go to the big Mr T tomorrow though, will probably go first thing.
Today's cleaning is the bedroom. Exercise activity is upper body HIIT plus the 14k steps and dog walking. Have taken a lentil stew with herb dumplings out of the freezer for tonight's dinner.
Mr SA and the dog still fast asleep, they didn't get up until 10am yesterday! The dog doesn't like the cold and can be very lazy this time of year if you let her. I know how she feels 😆 I could quite happily curl up somewhere warm and just read all day.

If you have room I would get separate washing machine and dryer. Our washer dryer is very temperamental. It is having a good run at the minute and has dried the last few loads (which probably means this mornings load won't dry!) When it is working it is great, but it is a pain when it isn't.
I do think we will end up replacing it this year if it carries on playing up. Although we don't have room for separate units so it will have to be a combined washer dryer again.6
