I am totally thrilled about the slippers. And the fact that your eyes are alright.

Good news that the Canaries are back on the safe to travel to list. Mr SA has had a small pester about us going to Lanzarote. Told him a good portion of the holiday pot has gone on the greenhouse. I would love to go but am content to wait until April when hopefully things may be a bit better virus wise - and money wise. I’ll leave you with this street art spotted on my walk into the city centre this morning and so very apt in the current climate.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)11

Love the street art.
I don’t blame you waiting until next year for your holiday.

I particularly like the throwing away the key bit I think it captures the current feeling. I’ve seen the street art people in this area and they are proper professionals with bags full of spray paint, not just random people.I follow a local FB group and a bloke who regularly posts I’ve just clicked is the son of a very lovely lady I worked with at the tender age of 16. We’ve had a few exchanges tonight, I was aware she sadly passed away some time ago. Talk about a small world. She took me under her wing and was my work mum.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

You have been out and about this week, it must have been strange being in the quiet city.Good to hear DD tested negative, one less worry for you.I thought of you the minute the Canaries came back on the safe list and wondered if you would book a last minute holiday.Any update on when your windows are being done ? Or did I miss you saying .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.7

Mr SA might have his slippers but has he got a phone case yet😀 brrrrrrr I had my windows done in December about ten years ago and it was freezing, we thought they would so one window at a time so we could sit in a room that wasnt being done but they took all the windows and the front door off at the same time, we were also home all day so I actually had the heating on all day but with no doors or windows it was bonkers. I've got a photo of both my DDs sitting on the settee with their coats scarf and gloves on underneath a duvet 😀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,12010

We had our front door replaced in our old house in January. That was cold enough. Can't imagine having all the windows and doors done at the same time of year!
We are thinking of cancelling our holiday to Belgium that we have booked for next April. We really can't see Covid being under control by then. We think we might just get a refund and put the money towards the extension to the patio and shed base that we want to get done this winter!8
