Morning folks, happy Monday 😎
What a dark miserable morning, didn't go for my run this morning because of the rain, so I decided I'd go for a long walk after breakfast and fetch a paper, walk to a shop further away. Nope still raining so ended up dashing to the local Mr T Express.
New budget starts today, need to do finances at some point.
Let's see what this week brings...

Holiday is still going ahead @abba1772 it's just mainland Spain they're cancelling. Negotiations still ongoing for an exemption from quarantine for Balearics/Canaries. If we have to quarantine on our return so be it. We're lucky that we can easily do this, a lot of folks won't be able to.
Mr SA has just been out with the dog, still raining though. It's really dark too. Later in the week looks really good though according to my weather app.
Finances done and last week I overspent by £13.34 but for the 4 week budget period I had an underspend of £46.64 which isn't as good as the previous month (£81.89 underspend). From today onwards I'm back to separating the grocery budget from the other spending as I really need to cut this down. I've got a Mr M delivery coming tomorrow and will need to go to Savers one day this week. I'll also have to go to the big Mr T as Mr M are still out of stock of Mr SA's beer and no doubt there'll be other stuff missing.

Curious why Mr M doesn’t have the beer for Mr SA again - they’re usually pretty well stocked. It’s rained non stop here too it’s really miserable. But since I’m supposed to be doing a holiday spring clean (instead of being on here 🤫) it’s not really stopping me from doing anything. It’s just miserable.
Hope an air bridge to the island is sorted for you.January spends - £587.586 -
@milann it's the Mr M website that's out of stock of practically every brand of lager bar the very expensive ones and their own brand. DD can't understand it either as she works in Mr M and says they have lots in the shop. I think there's something going off with their warehouse where the online deliveries come from as they are out of stock of loads of things. They don't get their stocks from the shops like the others do. The delivery drivers all come from Birmingham so that's where the warehouse must be. DD is happy to bring it back for him but I've been going to the big Mr T just because it's a novelty for me to go somewhere other than Mr T Express and Savers 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Just been announced FCO have added Spanish islands to the don’t travel there list 😩 So expecting Ibiza to be cancelled now unless it’s reviewed before we go. So annoying when the islands haven’t got the spike.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9

SA it seems to be changing daily , I think you will have to watch and wait . Fingers crossed for you .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.8

I just wish they’d make their minds up. If this one gets cancelled I’ll rebook when things improve but it will be Lanzarote as the weather in Ibiza can be a bit mixed after August. I’ll just keep rolling it forward until we eventually get to go.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8
