I'm confused by the latest advice, they said we could have one other household visit at a time so we could see out grandchildren but we have to socially distance, how can you socially distance from your grandchildren 🤷♀️Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945

I’m hoping to see my GKs next Saturday and will be giving them a big hug. They’re far too young to understand why if I don’t.I’ve heard that Jet2 are rescheduling all their flights so it’s still possible our August holiday might be cancelled. If so I’ll rebook for as soon as possible. I suppose they’ve got to sort out all the seating etc. Fingers crossed ours isn’t affected 🤞It is what it is, nothing I can do about it.
Will be off to Aldi shortly, wish me luck because no doubt everyone else will have had the same idea to go before it gets too hot. Then the rest of the day will be spent outside ☀️☀️😎I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Hope you’ve enjoyed the sunshine - I’ve dodged it.👍
Enjoy your granny hugs....I’m jealous. We’ve been playing with ideas of trying to get to see ours over the summer but still trying to get it to work as I know ds wants to see everyone too. The long journey might put a stop to it.....it’s been a long recovery.....so we’re trying to find a way to make it work for everyone.January spends - £587.585 -
Morning all, happy Friday 😎🎉
Had a lovely day off yesterday, sitting in the sun most of the day. Must remember to take my sandals off next time though as I have a lovely white stripe on my feet where the strap was 🤣
Aldi was very surprisingly quite empty. I was standing outside the door waiting to go in when I didn't need to, I'll never get the hang of this new way of shopping 🤣 The downside was a lot of the shelves were empty too and anything that was a low calorie/diet version was unavailable. Managed to get most of what I went for though. Mr SA met me with the dog on his scooter and he took the shopping home while I walked the dog.
Did the gin cocktail masterclass. The drinks were lovely but could have been easily mixed just using the instruction card rather than following the Instagram live broadcast. It was definitely worth £13 though and I'd do it again, although now pubs are reopening they might not do another one.
Have done my 5k run this morning and Mr SA has already taken the dog to the park. He said the park is littered with empty beer/cider cans and food rubbish so that would be why in the early hours of this morning we were woken up by a gang of teenagers walking down the road laughing and shouting. Makes me feel like standing outside their houses shouting as no doubt they are all tucked up fast asleep in their beds now, very annoying.
Have a great day everyone, forecast here is still hot but possibility of thunderstorms later.

Apart from a rumble of thunder and a short sharp shower it has been another hot sunny day here today ☀️ Didn’t see much of it as working today. The bottom of our garden is very high up and overlooks an estate right down in a dip. Very amusing this afternoon to witness an argument over parking spaces, got quite nasty at one point. The funny thing was there was a wood pigeon on nextdoors shed roof and it scuttled to the end to look down on them. It turned to me and looked as if to say what’s going on there then. It was so funny 😂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

The complication in your case is I guess that you work in the NHS but that means the risk is higher of you passing it to them rather than the other way round and all evidence points to children not being affected as badly should they get the virus. It is a decision you all have to take as a family which is what we did. I think everyone will have to risk assess for themselves given this virus may be around for a while.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Morning all, happy Saturday 💃
Have nipped our to Mr T Express and taken the dog on the park already. Good job I did as it’s raining now.
Weighed myself this morning and have STS. Need to carry on tracking and be a bit stricter this coming week.I’m a bit concerned about my cat, I think she’s unwell. She’s been sleeping a lot the past couple of days and not eating much when she usually eats a lot. I thought it was the heat but she’s the same today. She just looks unhappy ☹️ Will keep an eye on her over the weekend and take her to the vets on Monday if she’s no better.Just doing a bit of cleaning up today, nothing else planned.Hope everyone has a great day 😎I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
There have been horrific scenes near me of (mostly) young people drinking in the street, urinating, defecating, fighting, leaving used condoms, tampons and litter everywhere 😡. It's a small minority but they give all young people a bad name unfortunately.
I hope you get a bit of sun this weekend SA ☀️☀️☀️.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
