Sun_Addict said:@HairyHandofDartmoor I think the police presence would be better spent on those idiots who are sadly taking advantage of the situation. Weather forecast here is good 👍 have plenty to do if it’s wrong though. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Good luck with your new team SA . I am venturing to the supermarket tomorrow, doing mine and parents shopping. We have a hill near me where 10,000 people usually congregate on a Good Friday , I wonder how many will still chance it .Have a good break.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.6

@SUNSHINEGIRL_2 hoping not many converging on that hill right now 😱
Hope you have a good break too xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Happy Good Friday 😎
Trying to have a relaxing day today, although Mr SA has already had one mishap. You couldn’t make it up - he fell through his captain’s chair in the garden and got trapped in it. It looked quite funny though. Took ages to free him and get him up. He just doesn’t have the strength to help himself. I’m not joking he’s a liability 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -

He’s ok just a bit shook up. He gets himself into these scrapes, he needs to be more careful. Not done much today bar Joe Wicks PE, pottering in the garden and reading. Needed a chilled day to be honest. Will have to brave Mr T Express tomorrow, got no fruit or veg. I hate not having loads of veg in and my fruit basket is completely empty ☹️ Wish I’d picked up some frozen veg when I was in Iceland on Monday. Apparently there were waiting times of 1.5 hours to get in the bigger local-ish Mr T today 😱 I’m so fed up of this shopping nightmare 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Sorry to hear about Mr SA's accident, it does sound funny but can't have been fun getting him out of that predicament. 😮
As for the police fining people for buying"non-essential" items, that's just ridiculous and not practical at all. Where are the police when all the eejits are out in the parks/on beaches etc during lockdown?
My friend was telling me the other day that she knew of two people being stopped and fined by the police locally because they had went to the shops for "non-essential" items - one had stopped at the shop for some wine and the other sweets! I'm guessing they must not have bought anything else, but still seems a bit heavy handed when there are people actively flouting the lockdown and just doing whatever they want.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Sashybo it’s been on the news today that the police can’t look in your trolley and you can buy non essentials. The low life seem to be on the rampage right now and they should be concentrating on them. You shouldn’t be made to feel guilty if you’re buying a bottle of wine or some chocolate if you’re staying home most of the time. If staying home can be made as pleasant as possible then folks are more likely to comply. So glad I coloured my hair 2 weeks ago should be ok for another 10 weeks now, although the sun will lighten it naturally so might be longer. Thankfully despite my age have no grey - which is a miracle considering all that’s happened over the last few years, should be white 😂😱I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

You and me both with the white hair!!
i saw on the news that a police force (Cambridge I think?!) were blaming an overzealous officer for tweets about policing non-essential items in supermarket aisles/trolleys. In fact, you are able to buy anything available in any stores that are allowed to be open under current regulations XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
