I would just like to know, in who's world is hairspray & hair dye not an essential?

It's mad isn't it. This woman is working on the till at a supermarket everyday and so wanted to look presentable. I was chatting to a woman in the queue and she said it's a wonder we're still allowed to speak to each other. I know it's a terrible, serious situation but folks need to keep their morale up at a time like this. We'll all be on bread and water and wearing sackcloth if it keeps up like this.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

If shops don’t want to sell the things they should take them off the shelves. Makes me so mad, they shouldn’t have it available. The folk who need it will just go to a different shop with further chance of spreading germs. Rant over 😉
My local Tesco express was pretty well stocked yesterday and there were quite a few reduced items. Your shopping experience sounded awful this morning.January spends - £587.585 -
DD has offered to pick things up from Mr M as she works there but (a) she’s on leave until Monday and (b) I still prefer to pick my own stuff if I can. She is going to get the heavy things though. I’ve got a delivery slot in 2 weeks so not too long to go.Did the Joe Wicks PE workout after work as didn’t have time to do it live this morning. The dog sort of ruined it by getting in the way.Work is getting busier by the day so will be glad for the Easter break.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Forgot to say I’m using the Duolingo app to brush up on my Spanish ready for my next holiday whenever that may be. Got to cling on to that hope 💕I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Enjoy the Spanish - yes we’ve got to believe there will be nice holidays again.January spends - £587.586

Why not let DD get the stuff you need next week, realistically what is the difference between her picking it and an order picker choosing it for your on line delivery? Sometimes you have to take people up on their offers of help.7

Morning folks
Yes Debs I think that's what I'll have to do next week. For this week I now only need bread, milk and veg and will pick this up from the Mr T Express Saturday morning. I'm not going to try the big supermarkets again for a while.
Thankfully no plans to shop today or tomorrow 🎉
Hoping to finish work slightly earlier today (an hour probably) and start the Easter weekend. Doing Joe Wicks PE at 9am and then the next step of C25K after work. Already done today's Spanish lesson, my brain is sharper first thing and deteriorates as the day goes on 🤣
Have a good day all xx

Well this morning I found out I'll be moving to an entirely new team very quickly set up in the light of what's happening. Training starts next week before being thrown into the thick of it the following week. A tad apprehensive and I will be right on the frontline but I'm proud I'll be part of something that is helping people in these terrible times. I feel like I'm doing my bit now. Thankfully I can still do this work from home.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

I hope you like working with the new team SA and glad you can still work from home.
Your shopping experience doesn't sound great . It's weird that there are still queues for supermarkets as surely people have finished stockpiling and they seem to have plenty of most foods now (apart from flour and broccoli by the sound of it), but I suppose it's because they're letting less people in. The busy/quiet times probably vary from supermarket to supermarket. I find with our local Mr M that 8am seems to be the sweet spot, whereas by 9am there's a queue built up.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
