My local Tesco express was pretty well stocked yesterday and there were quite a few reduced items. Your shopping experience sounded awful this morning.

I completely agree with you both. If you're in the shop anyway buying 'essential' things then why shouldn't you buy a hair product while you're there. Anyway why is buying products to make yourself look presentable not 'essential'? 😡. Shall we all go around looking like cavemen and cavewomen because we don't want to buy 'non-essential 'products? 😡.

Heard on the radio that supermarket trollies might be checked for non essential items and £60 fines imposed if you’ve got something in there that isn’t. Ugh 🥱

Did the clapping for NHS tonight, seemed extra noisy with fireworks this week. 

Looking forward to 4 days off work, relaxing and getting stuff done.

Unbelievable! Have the police got nothing better to do? I fully agree with the lockdown and understand the reasons behind it, but I don't see what's wrong with buying the odd 'unnecessary' item if you went there to buy bread, milk and eggs. Who gets to decide what's essential? It's very subjective. I think the police are going to lose a lot of public sympathy if they're too heavy handed over enforcing the lockdown.

@HairyHandofDartmoor I think the police presence would be better spent on those idiots who are sadly taking advantage of the situation. Weather forecast here is good 👍 have plenty to do if it’s wrong though.
