Our big Tesco has a one way system, you have to follow and stay in your space, you do have to go down all the aisles though, if you forget something you aren't allowed to go back for it but there are people at the end of the aisle who can get it for you, one of my colleagues went and she although it took her longer to do her shopping it was quite relaxing in a way because you can't rushOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8946

Shopping does seem very similar at the moment to hunting down your food in caveman days 🙂.
I'm not sure I can get up earlier than 7am as I'm a complete wuss 🤣. I wonder how crowded parks are at 8am as I might manage that 🤔.
That's very frightening about people feeling a bit better and then taking a turn for the worse ☹. I wonder if that's what happened to Boris. Is there anyone in the cabinet who hasn't had the virus now? My friend's husband's brother died from the virus a couple of days ago I found out yesterday 😥. I definitely want to stop going out when I hear news like that .
I hope you got all your exercise done SA, I wish I had half your energy 🙂.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Not done all my exercise for the day yet HH, only just finished work, been stuck in meetings most of the day. I need to get my steps up to 10k so it might be the treadmill again. Oh the heady days when I used to do 24k steps on average.
Another day of work done, only 2 to go. I'm so looking forward to the long weekend even though I can't go anywhere.
Have fished out a Quorn Bolognese from the freezer for tonight's dinner, just need to add spaghetti. Found several opened packs of spaghetti at the back of the food cupboard which need using up. Mr SA has chicken hotpot cooking in the slow cooker.
Have made a list of what I'll need to pick up to take us over the weekend. It's not much thankfully so will be able to get it all from Mr T Express. Might pick up some tomorrow, very early, then the rest very early on Saturday. Ordered some batteries and also Mr SA's lip balm from Amazon, although have paid a bit more for them. I normally pick these up from Savers but they're not opening until 9am and that's when it starts getting busy. Before all this happened I hardly ever saw anyone at our local shops now they seem to be appearing from all over.

Have downloaded the NHS app Couch to 5k and gave that a whirl after work. Before I broke my leg I could easily run 5k so thought it would be a good way to get back into it. The verdict is I enjoyed it and have it scheduled in next for Thursday. So can recommend if anyone is thinking about it 👍

Good luck with it: you'll be on C210K before you know it!

Good good luck with the couch to 5 k - I know a lot of folk at my SW who swear by it. There’s no way I can run so no point me even trying - consultant has told me not to run....I really need to get out for a walk every day though.....some days I just don’t want to go out anywhere.
I went into a Tesco Express near me today as I was having a walk - I needed a couple of bits but nothing urgently and there was no queue as I passed - there was no way I was going to queue for them. I managed to get my tomato purée and carrots easily - whereas Morrison’s haven’t had any the last couple of times I’ve been in. I was very impressed with the way they insisted folk stay in there own box and travelled around the store following the arrows on the floor.

Morning folks 😎
Well what a mistake to try the further away Mr T store instead of the Express. Got there just after 7am - huge queue. It's a fair walk away so had no choice but to join it. Their special time for the elderly is 9-10 today so why oh why were the elderly in the queue at 7am!!!!! I went to a bigger Mr T in the hopes that I'd get everything I needed to save me going out again - nope. They had hardly any choice of fresh veg - no broccoli and some of the veg was really expensive. So it will be back to the Mr T Express on Saturday. On the plus side most people were following the one way system (apart from a couple of elderly men) and it was quite easy to social distance. There were a lot of empty shelves and some of the items I wanted were a bit more than I would normally pay although I picked up a tray of plants reduced. The woman on the till was complaining that Savers had refused to sell her hair dye as it's not an essential item - this is getting ridiculous in my opinion. As long as you've got other stuff in your basket and not made the trip especially I can't see a problem. They shouldn't put it out on the shelves if they don't want to sell it.
I didn't get back home until 9am, had to walk up a very steep hill with a heavy bag and by the time I got home I'd done 7k steps already. The hill is so long and steep it registered on my Fitbit as 18 flights of stairs.
And breathe...

Locally to us, the Mr T queues are long in the morning but by about 4 it's generally okay and the shelves have been restocked so you can get the things you want. May be worth a try?
