I live in a really quiet neighbourhood where you would normally see the same one or two people out walking their dogs but now there's dog walkers all over the place plus whole families out for a walk,Our favourite route takes in a long country lane and you are normally extremely lucky to see one other person but today there were two families coming along there while we were walking B 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8948

Stays stay safe when shopping SA. I feel so lucky to have 2 supermarkets a 5 minute walk away and another 3 about a mile or so away - all in walking distance but I wouldn’t want to carry much from the 3 a mile away - I’ve even been going to the local ones in the car recently though as I’m still not carrying anything heavy with my arm.
I've found the days are passing pretty quickly- I’m not starting my day until later though. I think it helped that I had all the time off work a while ago and have just slipped back but this time I’ve actually got something to help me pass the time with my work. I think I’ll struggle when I have to go back - whenever that might be.....I’m presuming September since I work in a school.
Hows your gs coping with the new regime?January spends - £587.586 -
I think the GKs are doing ok. DIL has got a proper routine going for them which includes the Joe Wicks PE. DGD has been given a laptop to do her school work on. Also finding the days are passing quickly, probably because I had a trial run on lockdown earlier this year with my leg.
I’m finding by punctuating my day with Joe Wicks, work meetings, treadmill running and the Jamie Oliver programme it’s helping me cope. Any way I can get through this I’ll take.Stood outside to clap tonight, people were setting off fireworks. The dog was barking in support 🤣
I could walk to an Aldi or Lidl but both are a fair walk about 30 minutes each way. I’m going to try and manage locally until the next delivery. Plus DD will pick up some things from work if need be. I will admit I’m scared to go out. Thank goodness this didn’t happen when I had the broken leg, doesn’t bear thinking about, I relied so much on the online deliveries then.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
I'm I'm glad to read one of the positives out of all this madness is that your poor old leg has improved! My Aldi is about 15 mins away and the Waitrose is about 20 - albeit in a different direction. The shopping with the trolly seems to be working at the mo. And I have two small Co-ops and a Tesco Express quite near so I've been managing quite well. I'll be glad when I get back to online shopping though.Re the dog walkers - I didn't know our neighbourhood had so many dogs till recently! One woman annoyed me the other day - she had her dog on one of those extendable leads but her dog was on one side of the pavement and she was on the other. As I approached her she didn't bother to pull the dog in. What did she think I was going to do - jump over the lead like a skipping rope! I shouted at her to pull the dog in - she did with a dirty look. I wish I'd had a pair of big sharp scissors......Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

How rude not pulling the rod in.
Good to hear you're ok for shops near you.January spends - £587.587 -
those extendable leads are a mare frankly.
I really like your routine, I think I will need to make a way to exercise out in the garden, anything inside results in remarks from mum - she isn't being nasty at all but just wishes that she was younger and could do it etc and it makes her sad so I tend to avoid doing stuff like that.
XXNevertheless she persisted.7 -
Buffy, I'm sure there are armchair exercises on the Internet that might be a way for you and your Mum to keep fit together. You could always go and do more vigorous exercise separately later.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Joe is doing one on You Tube for seniors - a chair based one I think. There's something for everyone out there. Doesn't bother Mr SA, he's quite happy watching his black and white war films (yawn).
Just a quick morning folks before I do the workout. Still not managed my walk first thing in the morning. By the time I've had a shower, breakfast and done the morning tidying up it's time to log on for work. Time flies when you're having fun. Didn't help that the dog woke me up at 3am to go out so I was a bit later waking up this morning.
Hope everyone is good this morning, see you later xx
