It is a mystery where all the new people are coming from SA 🤔. I've been seeing loads of people walk past our house on the way to the park and there seem to be far more of them than there's ever been before. I suppose normally they'd be shopping, or at the cinema, or the pub or something and they're going for a walk instead. I wonder who normally walks their dogs though? 🤔
DH's brother employs a dog walker which I think is the height of laziness (he's a lot richer than we are as we can't even afford a dog 😭).Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Got to do it early or late to beat the crowds unfortunately. I just wanted to get it over with, get back home and be safe.Having recent experience of being confined to barracks with the broken leg, I can honestly say that when we are all released from this lockdown you will feel like kissing the floor of your workplace. Seriously the first time I walked back in the office I wanted to cry and hug everyone. Just simple things like going to Mr S felt like a luxury. You never know what you’ve got until it’s gone.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

I wish I could clean the whole house. well I don't, not really, but you know what I mean! Sounds like you had a really productive day, I need to go through my toiletries as well, good reminder as I am sure I am running out of face cream.
Our local FB group has had a couple of post about people being out and about which was depressing, people are so stupid. I like the clapping for the NHS thing, they are actually risking their health and lives so it is the absolute least we can do. But not for kids. It is hard and confusing for everyone but we aren't all risking our lives to help others.
I have found walking the dogs about 7 seems to work as most covid joggers and dog owners go out early on. I only saw two people on my walk tonight compared to the 20 or so when i was going out earlier on.
Take care

Morning folks, today is Sunday in case you didn't realise 🤣
Kids are lucky they have all this technology to hand. I dread to think what it would've been like if this had happened years ago when mine were young, especially the teenage years. I can imagine there are some battles going on with parents trying to keep the older ones in. Someone I work with is a single parent to 3 very lively kids and she's trying to WFH, home school and entertain them all at the same time, she's had several meltdowns.
So far today I've had a hair mask on which I do every Sunday morning anyway. I need to take the dog out and am planning to do the Insanity class live on You Tube later. Then the rest of the day will be spent in the garden pottering about. We need to tidy up the patio and look at what planters we have and how many plants we need. Mr SA has been going to jet wash the patio since last summer, he might get round to it one day. No idea where I'm going to get plants from, might have to go to Aldi for some food shopping at some stage and maybe I could pick a few up at the same time. Some local nurseries are delivering and taking orders over the phone but they are very busy.
Need to do finances today as it's the last day of the 4 week budget period. Not really been in a budget frame of mind but it still needs to be done, have only been spending on groceries though.
Hope the weather is good where you are and you have a nice day xx

Made a start on the garden and never did get round to taking the dog out and doing Insanity. The dog is happy enough in the garden running about and too many people out and about to go out now.
Only nipped indoors for a few minutes and when I went back outside the neighbour was in our garden 😱 Mr SA had fallen and couldn’t get up. He had a dizzy spell and fell down some steps ☹️ Managed to get him up eventually, he’s shaken and his leg is grazed but otherwise ok. I never knew that the fence panels between ours and next door just slid up. Nice of him to offer help under the circumstances though 👍 This has broken his fairly decent run of not falling unfortunately ☹️ I’ve told him to rest as the last thing he needs right now is a hospital visit. In other news I’ve renewed my Good Housekeeping subscription using Tesco Clubcard vouchers don’t something money saving done.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -

Forgot to say we have seen an increase in dogs being walked here too,I don't know where they have all come from, I could count the number of regular dog walkers on my road on the fingers of one hand, last night when we took B for a walk there was a group of four teenagers in the field having a loud conversation about how funny it was that they had been stopped by the police previously for being out when they shouldn't have been, they just don't care, I want to know why their parents aren't making them stay at home, mine wouldn't have been allowed out in this situation that's for sureOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8947
