My dog isn’t interested in street walks because all she wants to do is go on the park across the road and run after a ball. I’m hesitant to go there now as everyone is off and doing the same thing. Most of the time I moan about it but I have a 100ft long garden which I’m very glad of right now because I can throw a ball for her and she can get a good run. I really feel for those who don’t have this option and need to walk their dogs. Hopefully it won’t be for too long.
Mr SA is really testing my patience tonight. At just after 6pm he told me to hurry up and go and have a bath because he was hungry and wanted his dinner early 😡
DS still has to go into work as his firm make things for NHS.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9 -
Morning all, another day, hope everyone is well
Currently in a queue Mr M online I only want to amend my order for next week. I placed it 3 weeks ago and can’t even remember what I ordered. As this could be my last order for some time I want to make sure it’s right and not just a crate of beer and a tin of chickpeas.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10 -
Afternoon
I eventually got on the Mr M website, took around an hour but passed quickly as I was doing bits and bobs around the house before starting work. Got my order amended but I was panicking thinking I might have a limited time so I'm still not 100% sure I've ordered everything I need but it will have to do. No more slots going forward yet. Hopefully things will improve, I know they are working on it.
Took the dog on the park first thing. There were a few other people there but everyone was adhering to the social distancing - apart from the dogs. Did the Joe Wicks workout too. Trying to keep moving as I'm so used to being active with walking to/from work and lunchtime walks/classes.
I've had a couple of wobbles and got a bit tearful today, I thought I was coping quite well. Doesn't help that Mr SA keeps looking in the fridge and asking when is it lunchtime and what is he having for his dinner. I keep sending him outside in the garden with the dog before he drives me nuts.

Sorry you're feeling wobbly SA 😥. It's quite understandable and I'm we're all having the odd day or moment like that at the moment. We're living in such stressful and changing times, with our normal safe routines chucked out of the window. It's normal to be emotional because what's happening around us is scary.
Can you ring a friend for a video chat or read a good escapist book to make you feel more 'normal'? I hope you feel a bit better soon.

I've got a good book on the go but can't settle to read it properly, I keep re-reading the same bit. We have two work catch ups a day via Teams, an informal one with my team and a more formal one at the end of the day with the senior leaders to go through today's virus related events. I'm finding both helpful to be honest. I'm also in a few What's App groups with friends and we keep sending daft pictures and things so it's all good in that respect. I was just the same when Mr SA first got poorly until I settled into a routine. I'm trying hard to keep myself busy and do as many things as possible that I normally do like my nightly baths and having a coffee break at the same times. I should be used to it after being stuck in with the broken leg for the best part of 7 weeks, at least I can get about this time.
I'll be fine 😎

I'm in two WhatsApp groups with work, one for MTAs and one for teachers/TAs and my phone never stops pinging, so I've had to turn the sound off as it was driving me potty 😡😱🤣. It's good to know what's going on though.
It's going to take a while to establish a routine as the world has gone crazy and that's got inside our heads and is unsettling us. I've started doing a daily to do list again 📃 and I actually write things on it like 'Get up at 8am', 'have shower 6pm', 'weed two pots', 'put dishwasher on', etc, etc. It sounds ridiculous but it makes me feel like I have something to work through and get a sense of achievement and normality in these turbulent times.
