Very sorry to hear about Mr SA's fall. They do seem to be in a cluster, don't they? Absolutely nerve-wracking for you, too. I think you said he's already had a falls assessment, and if I remember rightly he only complies to the extent that he sees there's a problem... there's only so much you can do, isn't there?
I hope he has a good day today.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Hope you’re having a chilled weekend. The weather here has been much better today.
Has Mr SA had to go anywhere with his hand - hope it’s improving for both your sakes.January spends - £587.580 -
Here we are back at Smonday. Mr SA's hand is loads better, we haven't been anywhere with it. This latest fall was his knee giving way, it's what he calls his roofers knee and is from years of kneeling on cold roof tiles. Having said that his postman brother also has a dodgy knee so it could be hereditary.
Been a quiet weekend, weather has been sunny and windy so got loads of washing done.
Meal plan for next week:
Tonight is salmon and roast veg
Monday: red pepper nut roast (new recipe)
Tuesday: veg lasagne (from freezer) and salad
Wednesday: stir fry using up leftover veg
Thursday: butternut squash dhal with cauli rice
Friday: spiced cod with puy lentils
Soup for the week is spiced lentil.
Short week this week, finish Thursday for a long weekend. It's my birthday on Friday, not sure what I'm doing yet apart from hairdressers in the morning. Usually in Ibiza for my birthdayStill only 5 weeks to Lanzarote.
Finances will last just about until Friday.
Have a good week folksI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Morning folks
Wednesday already - another week flying by!
Working from home today and it is so nice not to have to rush in the morning.
The bruising has really come out on Mr SA's hand but he's able to do more with it now. He's still insisting it's broken but I honestly can't see where. Plus after watching an article on TV about piles he's decided he's got them now. I was really cross with him yesterday as he went to a retail park about 4 miles away on his scooter to get me a birthday present. This retail park is on a very busy loop road and he never waits for the green man to cross roads he just scoots across and traffic comes from all directions. He only told me when he got back as he knows he shouldn't go there on his own. Also cross with him as I want perfume for my birthday and I want to choose it myself. Fortunately he didn't get me anything - the thought is there but he needs to see I have a set budget and it's for my perfume! He has admitted he can't see danger, his brain doesn't process it.
Will catch up with diaries later, must start work now.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Work finished for the day, love working at home, although Mr SA has been a bit of a pain disturbing me and expecting me to cook sausages for his lunch. Plus he thinks it's Thursday and keeps thinking I'm off tomorrow
Managed to buy a Debenhams gift card 9% off from a work related site, plus Debenhams have got discounts on perfumes this week - trying to get this perfume the most cost-effective way I can :money: I'm finishing work early tomorrow and will pop in on my way home.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Hope you got your perfume! Xx0
