Re the job - the extra cash would have been helpful, but you sound very happy where you are now.

Shame about Mr SA and the Men's Shed. It could have been a nice way of getting himself out of the house and make new pals into the bargain.

Have a good time in Brum tomorrow.

Sorry the job and the Men in Sheds didn't materialise (that sounds very suspect but you know what I mean!)

It's odd about Mr SA not being able to swim now. It's good that he's at least giving it a go, even a bit of splashing about is exercise, after all, and he may be able to improve.

    Hello folks :)

Thank you for your kind comments re the job. Honestly I'm not bothered, I love where I am now, the money's not bad, and there is no stress.

Had a lovely catch up with old school friends today plus a tour of one of my friend's workplace which was really interesting and historical.

On a massive minus side Mr SA had a very bad fall yesterday, he fell down the stairs and has done something to his hand :( It's bruised and swollen :( Honestly he drives me nuts there's always something.

Had a nice day in Brum yesterday, aside from the work meeting part, weather not too bad redo. Didn't buy anything from the shops though. Next time I go it will be end of November so the Christmas stuff will be out

No particular plans for the weekend, just a quiet one hopefully.

Oh no - Mr SA's is really going through it at the moment. :(. Are his falls becoming more frequent do you think ?

On the plus side, your old friends catch up sounded fun as well as your Brum trip. :)

Here's to a relaxing weekend for you.
