  • Good news about the bonus and voucher :T but not good about the prescription penalty .

Make Mr SA pay for his own phone, it's getting ridiculous .

Good luck with the job application, I'd have thought you stood a good chance :).

Think I'd be making DD cough up the money for the !!!! phone she ordered for OH !!
I'd also be writing to the practice manager - they can't put right what they aren't aware of . (((hugs)))

    Happy Sunday folks :)

I will definitely be writing to the practice manager, it's really bad service.

Club Tropicana was fab :) The first half was a bit slow and Mr SA was pulling a face, I reminded him Benidorm started off the same but was brilliant in the second half. Anyway the second half was amazing, everyone was up on their feet dancing and singing. Loved it.

The free cocktail beforehand wasn't so great. I had aperol spritz and all I could taste was soda :( Glad I didn't pay for it. For some reason Mr SA decided to move the table and some of my drink spilled on my white jeans - so before we'd even got to the theatre I had a lovely orange stain right down the front :( He always fiddles with tables and spills drinks, I don't know why he does it.

Finances done already this morning. VSP now holds £369.56, target is £400 by the end of the month so not bad. CC is cleared. Will need to be careful with the grocery budget for the next two weeks, will be eating out of the freezer/cupboards to use up stocks, got plenty in so won't be an issue.

The plan for today is to do the cleaning that didn't get done yesterday, take the dog on the park and generally potter about getting ready for the week ahead. Will need to pop to the local shops for a couple of bits but no Aldi or Lidl shop today. Mr SA is still fast asleep in bed, I can hear him snoring downstairs.

My Fitbit charger disintegrated in my hands yesterday, I'm going to try and fix it - just typical when I'm planning on getting a new Fitbit but not until I get paid.

This time next week I'll have broken up for my week off work :j

Have a great day everyone :)

  • I'm glad you enjoyed the show :). Won't your new Fitbit comes with it's own charger?

Yes it will but I need to charge my current Fitbit up. I don't want to have to buy the new one until I get my bonus.

So much for the free cocktail.
Boo to the big orange stain.
Could you put the Fitbit on your CC and pay for it when you get the bonus?
    Happy Sunday:). Xx

I suppose I could Beanie but it's getting the time. I want to see it in the flesh so to speak as I also use it as a watch. They've brought a new one out and I need to see the size of it in comparison to my wrist as I've got extremely thin wrists and I don't want it to look too big.

Mr SA is in his element this afternoon - cricket, formula 1 and Wimbledon all at the same time. At least he's quiet and out of the way.

Can't believe I forgot to report I lost 2lbs at WW yesterday :) 4lbs under goal now.

This week's meal plan using stocks from freezer/cupboard:

Soup for the work lunches - squash, chickpea, spinach and lime

Tonight: mustard glazed salmon with lentils, fresh mint, green bean and tomato salad

    Monday: courgette and tuna linguine
    Tuesday: lentil loaf, veg
Wednesday: vegi burger, sweet potato wedges, salad
    Thursday: stir fry
Friday: lemon sole, squash wedges and veg
Saturday: tomato and aubergine curry, cauli rice and mini naan

Ended up going to Lidl as it would've cost too much shopping local and it gave the dog and me a good walk 8,000 steps altogether.

Got the doctors on Wednesday morning for the results of the healthy heart check up I had 3 weeks ago.

Pleased you enjoyed the show and got a free cocktail even though it wasn’t the best.

I’m with you on wanting to see how the Fitbit looks on your wrist. Some of the. Would look ridiculous on me as I have a small wrist too.

The menu plan sounds delicious as usual.
    January spends - £587.58
  • I have ye old fashioned clip on one. Zip I think, I dread to think what will happen when dies. I hate wearing things on my wrists. I have small hands and everything falls off.

    Hope the stain comes out.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

    That's Monday done :)

The stain came out, I washed them as soon as we got home.

Woke up with a sore throat and aching all over this morning :( Where's that come from I was fine yesterday. Don't feel too bad at the moment but will be having an early night that's for sure.

I decided to get the newer version of my Fitbit the Charge 3 as it's perfect for me the Versa is far too big for my wrist and it's more than I wanted to pay anyway. We can buy gift cards at discounted prices at work so I bought a Currys gift card 6% discount then went via TCB :money:

As I wasn't well enough for my lunchtime run I nipped to Mr S and was asked to do a survey on their displays, it only took 10 minutes and I was handed a £5 note for my troubles :money: I only went in for a lemon.

I've written a letter of complaint to the GP practice manager and will pop it in their letterbox tomorrow morning on my way to work. Luckily Mr SA has enough meds to last him well into next week, hopefully he'll have heard something by then.
