I feel so much better today
Hard to believe I felt so rough yesterday. Wonder if the achy feeling was the flu jab kicking in - the nurse said it would take two weeks to get into your system. Anyway I feel fine now
Had a lovely catch up with work friend this lunchtime - a wine and a whine
To top off a good day I've been awarded a £100 bonus at work. Obviously got to pay tax and NICS on it but super pleased Will get it in my December salary. Whatever I get will be added to my treat fund. I love my new job, they are so appreciative, even though it's the same employer just a different line of business.
Not buying my cat an advent calendar ever again - she doesn't like it and she didn't like last year's either. However, the dog loves hers but then dogs are so much easier to please
For some reason Mr SA is saying he's going to town tomorrow
I'm sure he won't, he knows he's not meant to go far unaccompanied, but it would be just my luck I'd bump into him. I'm sure he thinks of things to wind me up I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Thankfully it's tipping down with rain this morning which means Mr SA won't go anywhere on his scooter least of all town. The thing is he's got a bee in his bonnet about wanting some army trousers, despite the fact he had almost £150 spent on him 3 weeks ago for new clothes. He'll pester and pester until he gets them. I feel like I've got a giant child.
Going to get into town for 8am and have a wander round Primark when it first opens, which is the only time to go in there really
