I enjoyed today but my feet are sore. Got into town at 8am, went into Primark to pick up some socks and undies. It was tipping down with rain when I came out and I ran into M&S where the paper carrier bag disintegrated spewing out the contents all over the shop floor.
Had a lovely lunch in Slug & Lettuce, veg chilli only £6 and really really nice.
Was ready to go home just after lunch but had to stay out so Mr SA didn't suspect, as my mum used to say oh what a tangled web we weave ...
Usually get the Soap & Glory but didn't have enough points on my Advantage card to get it for free and didn't want it enough to pay £30.
The gin advent calendar has revealed a gem tonight - Hendricks mwahTakes me back to Ibiza when I ordered a G&T in a beach bar, they reeled off the brands, I picked Hendricks because I'd heard of it - it cost me €16. Mr SA said you'd better make that last a while :rotfl:

OMG forgot the most vital news of the day in that DD has gone out - out out
She spent the best part of today cleaning her room according to Mr SA. Mr SA told her to be back for 10.30 - she's 32 next month :rotfl:

Glad you enjoyed your day out. How did you entertain yourself after lunch until you could go home at a 'normal' time? :rotfl:

HH - I just walked round some different shops and the Christmas market.
Put your hats away folks, DD was back at 10.30 alone. Oh well.
It did cross my mind was it one of these Tinder type dates, did it not work out as she returned early. She said it was with a named friend.
Apart from the local shops, taking the dog out and WW I haven't been anywhere today and no one has been - bliss
Lost half a pound at WW which I'm pleased about given the meals out etc, didn't expect it at all. Only 1.5lbs over goal now.
Took the dog out to look at Christmas lights tonight, we hadn't got far when it started pouring with rain. Where I live is extremely hilly and coming back up the hill the rain was pouring down and it was suddenly so windy it was like the cyclone challenge on I'm a Celebrity.
Mr SA pestered me so much about the army trousers this morning I ended up getting him some from eBay. At the time he was sitting there in a pair of army trousers but they are apparently the wrong shade. Then he requested that I add a pair of skiing goggles to the order. If he thinks I'm going out anywhere with him in this combination he can forget it.
Must be time to open the gin advent calendar.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
