Best win so far - holiday to Florida0 -
All was well last night thank goodness. Had a lovely night's sleep. Woke up far too early with the clicks going back though.
Mr SA hasn't been out today. I took the dog out twice and have been to Aldi. Cleaned the whole house as didn't get round to it yesterday.
Halloween treats all bagged up ready for Wednesday, 20 bags of sweets, when they've gone that's it. I stop answering the door at 7.30 anyway. One year some teenage lads knocked on the door, looked about 15. Neither of them were dressed up which I mentioned, then I told them they were too old to be trick or treating. They looked so sheepish I gave them a handful of lollipops anyway for their cheek. I always moan about it at first but the local kids dress up so well it ends up beng more a pleasure than a pain. The downside is the dog is barking all night until it all settles down.
Disappointed Hocus Pocus wasn't on TV today - I love to watch it the Sunday before Halloween
Finances are done - just waiting for payday now (Wednesday).
April holiday to Lanzarote is bookedNeeded to book before 1 November to get £60 off then went through Quidco got £25 cashback. We'll be staying in some bungalows literally right on the sea front. We were looking at them in October. All the places we go are either next door or across the road. Paid £120 deposit today then the balance has to be paid by 12 February. Something to look forward to anyway
The blueberry muffins are delicious, was tempted to have a second one!

That's Monday done
Not liking this cold weather, had to dig my gloves out this morning
I bought Mr SA a shaver from Lidl on 30 September - he's managed to trash the blades already. He's always been heavy handed with shavers, even the expensive ones don't last him long. You can buy spares from the manufacturers in Germany for €8 but surely they should last longer than a month? Tempted to take it back to Lidl to be honest. Their electrical stuff isn't great, I bought an electric flosser earlier this year, it was brilliant at first then just stopped working, I got my money back in the end.
There's always something with Mr SA, one thing after another to sort out for him.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
I agree with the cold weather , had to defrost the car so was freezing before I had even started .
I hope you take the shaver back a month doesn't sound very long to me .This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
