That's Monday done.
I was in the office this morning and can you believe I left my VDU glasses at home 😖 I struggled without them so persevered until lunchtime then came home to finish my day. We had a planned practice building evacuation where we have to disperse into the local area for 45 minutes so I dispersed to B&M 😆 It was a worthwhile trip though as I've picked up lots of cleaning stuff, a few Christmas bits and yet more tiny tins of coconut milk (3 for £1).
I've done my usual Monday finances check and paid off the cc.
I've done 25,000 steps today so will finish the day with a stretching session.
I'd planned to have a portion of veggie lasagne from the freezer for dinner tonight but due to my haphazard freezer inventory maintenance I found I don't actually have any left so I shall make a pasta bake instead.
I'm going to pursue the OH route as he's had one before and they were really helpful suggesting the right equipment and measuring him to make sure they were right. Anything with suction won't stick to my tiles, I've tried before with a shower rack, so a grab rail would need to be properly fitted. I'm going to ring the doctors to see if they can refer him due to 2 instances of needing an ambulance to get him up in the past 6 months.

That's a point well worth making, @Sun_Addict, that you needed an ambulance twice in 6 months to deal with falls. It certainly provides more hard evidence that there is a problem here. Hope you can get some OH sorted.

Morning all, happy Tuesday.
WFH today. Mr M delivery has been and is packed away. One sub - herbal tea bags for a different flavour I didn't want so returned. No missing items. Just need to find some room in the freezer for a few frozen things I can't fit in at the moment. Thankfully this week Mr SA got his battered fish and not another vegan wellington. I got a refund last week so the wellington was free. I will try a piece of it although I'm not overkeen on pastry.
Cross with myself because I forgot to put the giant naan breads in the freezer after I opened them last week and they've gone mouldy. I hate throwing food away. Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed by all the little jobs that pile up and some slip through the net, there are just not enough hours in the day to keep on top of everything and remember to do everything. Mr SA is no help whatsoever he just creates extra jobs.
Tonight I'll be keeping out of the way of the footie and watching TV in the dining room. I don't mind Mr SA watching the England and latter stages matches just as long as he doesn't expect me to sit through them. Other TVs are available dot com.
Today's exercise will be taking the dog on the park later, live bums and tums at lunchtime and resistance bands tonight. I'm only aiming for 15,000 steps today.
Tonight's dinner will have to be a portion of something from the freezer. Top priority of the day is to sort out the freezers. I wish DD would stop buying frozen food we don't have room for it!
I'd quite like to put some more Christmas decorations up later but definitely not a priority with so much else to do plus do a full day's work!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
I logged off at 4pm, although I’d still done over my hours as I started at 7am, and spent a good couple of hours doing some cleaning and putting a few more Christmas decorations up. I’ve also sorted out the freezer, everything fits now and a new list has been compiled. I had a portion of Quorn chilli with a jacket potato and salad for dinner. My herbal tea advent calendar arrived today. It looks fabulous. I usually have a wine or gin advent calendar- oh how the mighty have fallen 🤣 Seriously though I love my herbal tea and have been disappointed with wine/gin advent calendars in the past plus they’re quite pricey for what they are.Watching TV on the sofa in the dining room, I have a Roku box in there so a pretty decent selection of channels.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

The herbal tea advent calendar sounds like a really nice idea SA. Yes - a friend of mine remarked about the price of the alcohol calendars. At least you have a healthy calendar this year!😀Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
