I hope the foot recovers quickly, it must be painful.

My foot feels a lot better this morning thank goodness. I guess I'll always have trouble with that ankle - thanks for that Mr SA 😒

I did a Prolific survey first thing this morning and earned £1.19 for 5 minutes. I used to do a lot of surveys but no longer have time to do many on a regular basis so just dip in now and then.

WFH today. The Mr M shop arrived just after 6am so all put away. No missing items or subs.

I noticed the coffee pods I usually buy have gone up from 2 for £8 to £4.95 each!! I didn't put any on this week's order but had a look on Amazon as they often do some good deals - 10 packs for £37.99 so works out a lot cheaper. Just shows it pays to shop around.

Today's exercise will be dog walking later this morning, a lunchtime live bums and tums session and resistance bands tonight.

I'm hoping it's not going to rain today so I can get some washing out. Also need to clean the bathroom and dust round upstairs.

Tonight's dinner is a portion of veggie lasagne from the freezer with salad.

HomeBargain's Nescafe strength 10 coffee pods are £1.99 and taste mmmmm
or Aldi's Colombian and Ethiopian pods are good, at the same price (I think)

They don’t fit my Tassimo machine unfortunately. It’s annoying as lots of places have their own cheaper pods but they only fit Nespresso machines. I’m thinking of changing to a Nespresso machine at some stage for this very reason.

I bought my Nespresso machine as part of an offer on their website - it was machine and a huge box full of pods for £48 about this time last year. I had a Tassimo a while back and it didn't seem to make the coffee very hot - the Nespresso does a better job.
  • Have you checked Ebay for Tassimo? I used to buy mine from there when I had one.

I’m in the office today but sat all on my own 🙁 I’ll stay until lunchtime then WFH this afternoon.

🐙 sent me notification of my upcoming payment and have suggested I up the payment to just under £300 to build a buffer. I’m currently almost £500 in credit so I’m going to wait and see if this goes down first.

Put some washing out before I left the house this morning as it’s sunny and windy here. Any drying outside is a bonus now.

I don’t plan to spend anything today so it should be NSD 7 of October.

Exercise is walking to/from work and a live Zumba session at 6pm.

Tonight’s dinner is a portion of veggie paella from freezer stocks. Freezer contents coming down nicely so will soon have a clear drawer to earmark for the week’s meals.

@CRANKY40 we got ours on a deal (through their shop in our nearest city) with loads of capsules, plus a frother (which I sold right away as we wouldn't use it).  We love it so much we take it away when we go on mini-breaks around the UK.

PS: geeky info - Nespresso use recycled aluminium pods in their shop fittings.
