@RelievedSheff 3 bathrooms is just showing off 🤣

@Makingabobor2 hello (waves). I'm glad it's not just me who's exercise mad 😆

@milann I don't actually have room in my freezer but the thought is there 😆

Well I guess I won't be hanging out any washing today. It's been pouring down all morning. Got soaked on my way back from Aldi. The road was flooded and although most drivers slowed down to avoid the deep puddles, a handful drove far too fast and too close to the kerb and absolutely drenched me.

No indeed....exercise makes you feel so much better. I don't do it to lose weight, as am too thin to start with...lol.  But trying to get fitter and help my bones. When I was younger I didn't bother nearly as much, but since being diagnosed with Osteoporosis, I realise just how important it is.  Keep up the good work.  :)

Great idea about a shelf for the weeks meals... I might try a variation of having a carrier bag with the weeks meals, as I organise my freezer into carrier bags so that they're easy to lift about.

"carrot, ginger and butterbean soup - it's delicious but think I may have been a bit heavy handed with the ginger!". Add some coconut to tone down the ginger. That also works if a curry is too fierce. I use coconut milk powder.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Too late I’ve already eaten it 🔥 I don’t mind a bit of heat though.  I know yoghurt also tones too hot curries down. Where do you get your coconut milk powder from? I use coconut milk in quite a few recipes but only need a tiny bit sometimes so powder would be brilliant. I’ve had the tiny tins from B&M but they don’t always have them in stock.

I think the coconut milk powder was from Amazon for a kilo, but it was a while ago as it does last ages.

Happy Friday 🥳 That’s another week done ✔️

Have been in the office today but only did 6 hours as I’d had enough by then (see below). Managed to dodge the rain on the walk in but caught it on the walk back but not heavy rain. I’d only been home 10 minutes when the heavens opened so that was lucky.

Unfortunately a bloke at work who’s obsessed with conspiracy theories came and sat opposite me and was basically scaremongering about anything and everything. He always manages to seek me out. And he refuses to be vaccinated as that’s a conspiracy too 😩

Popped into Lidl on the way home for the things I couldn’t get from Aldi yesterday.

I did the new live FitSteps class last night, there were only 6 of us in the class, everyone else had their cameras on so I reluctantly put mine on 😬 😱 I did forget it was on as we got going so it wasn’t as bad as I thought.  I was concerned she’d see my smalls drying on the radiator in the background but I don’t think the camera on my iPad focused that far🤞Mr SA tried to shuffle in but I shooed him off. I enjoyed it, well worth £2.50 and I can do the class again on demand as many times as I like for 6 days should I wish as she recorded it. I’ll definitely do another class next week.

On the money front, DD paid her board today so I’ve sent that over to the holiday pot. Also sent an oddment of £2.00 to the Christmas pot, now £532.19.

The downside of DD being paid today is that she’s been food shopping and filled the freezer back up. As fast as I try to run it down a bit she fills it up! I shouldn’t complain I suppose.

  • I hate doing live classes on zoom. I prefer the FB ones where no one can see me....lol.  I've not done any for a couple of days as not feeling 100%, but can't wait to get back into it again.

I'd be telling Mr unvaccinated to go & sit somewhere else....lol

Exactly. Where would we be without vaccinations. They eradicated so many diseases that used to be fatal. I’ve noticed no one ever sits next to him.

I just sniggered out loud at the vision of MrSA shuffling into your exercise class.

I love the idea of a freezer shelf for the week's meals.  Despite a freezer inventory OH opens the freezer door and stands and stares into it.  Admittedly it is very full but it always makes me think of the film "men who stare at goats".
