Argh to the bomber jacket - perhaps when you want a day to yourself you could order one and get him to wait at home for it while you hit the shops?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

There's some bomber jackets on ebay for 99p. If he's going to look daft you may as well do it on the cheap?5

Morning, happy Monday. My last day off so going to make the most of it. It was so nice not to have to trek to work in the dark and rain this morning.I ordered a shoe rack for the hall, it arrived last night and I managed to put it together in less than 20 minutes this morning. I’m really pleased with it. I never keep my shoes in the hall but Mr SA and DD do. They used to just leave them on the floor, despite there being a cupboard in the hall, so I bought a wicker basket to put them in which worked for a while but then they started leaving their shoes at the side of the basket 🤔 Hopefully the nice new shoe rack will encourage them to use it!Today’s main task is to put up the coat racks in the bedroom cupboard and sort out some shelves in my wardrobe. I’m hoping the other shoe rack will arrive today so I can finish the cupboard.Exercise will be dog walking later, a strength training session and a one off live ClubFit class tonight. Tonight’s dinner is rice stuffed pepper. Having leftover aubergine parmigiana for lunch. Must make soup for work lunches, will see what needs using up.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

The other shoe rack arrived so I got the cupboard finished 🥳 I’m not entirely convinced one of the coat racks won’t fall off the wall in the night though. It looks so much better in there now, so much space and I can see all my boots/trainers easily. It’s quite a big cupboard, the size of a small en-suite. I’ve also decluttered the shelves in my wardrobe so it looks loads better in there too.The garden cushions have been packed away in storage bags and put in the shed. Just waiting for the garden bench cover to arrive now.
On the money front it’s been another NSD and I’ve sent an oddment of £4.84 to the Christmas pot. Now holds £521.01.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Morning, happy Tuesday.
Sadly back at work today but WFH so not too bad.
Mr M delivery all packed away, no missing items or subs. This week's voucher was £1.50 off fresh fruit, had already ordered bananas so only had to spend 79p to get £1.50 off - bargain! Had to play freezer Tetris to fit the frozen food in.
Finances have been sorted and have had a small overspend on groceries in this 4 week period but had underspends in the other pots so have made up the shortfall from there and the rest has gone into the general spends pot. I have noticed a few items creeping into spends that don't seem to fit into any of my categories so maybe an ad hoc spends pot is needed.
Today's exercise goal is 15k steps, live bums and tums at lunchtime then live resistance bands tonight.
The weather is beautiful again so a line of washing is out.
Tonight's dinner is veggie chilli in a baked sweet potato.
Cleaning task is the kitchen.

Your time off went quickly SA. The re organised cupboards sound much easier to navigate 👍

That's a good Christmas Pot, @Sun_Addict..It's certainly healthier than mine, although I have been buying a few presents here & there.
