I don't know how you regulate keep up 25k+ steps, half impressed, half shamed with my usual 6-7k step count ha.
Have you tried Momma Bains samosas? If not you must, the fish and chip shop sells them on Mansfield Rd. Great story behind them too.4 -

Morning, happy Thursday. WFH today then off until Tuesday 😁 Got a really busy day from 10.30 until 3.30 my calendar is one meeting after another apart from 30 minutes at lunchtime when I'm at a live exercise class.
I'm going to go to Aldi this morning, will have to go early as I need to be back for 10.30. I don't need a lot (famous last words) I'm going more to get my steps up and some fresh air before the meetings start.
Tonight's dinner is spiced butternut squash stew with herb dumplings made from yoghurt and flour - an old favourite recipe and will use up the squash that's been lurking in the kitchen for a week.
After work I need to give the bathroom a good clean. Also need to think about what I want to achieve over the next 4 days, hoping one of the days will be good weather to do some garden tidying. Mr SA has been mentioning going to a coffee shop in town but I'm ignoring him because going into town doesn't feature in my plan. It annoys me when I book time off work to get things done and he tries to hijack it. I want the next 4 days to be about catching up with things I haven't had time to do just lately.

We are hoping for some alright weather this weekend so that we can have a tidy up in the garden and get the van washed. Thought the garden might have slowed down by this time of year but it seems it put a growth spurt on while we were away!2

Hope Mr SA doesn’t get in the way of your busy weekend . Where are thinking of decorating next ? Am sure you mustn’t have much left ?Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2 -

That’s work done until Tuesday 🥳 It’s been manic today but managed to get the urgent things done, the rest can wait. I ended up doing an hour over my hours, although I get it back in flexi, so I didn’t get the bathroom done, that can roll over to tomorrow.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Happy Friday 🥳
I took the summer duvet to the launderette this morning and had a wander round the charity shops while I was waiting. I made Mr SA stay at home because there was no point in him coming with me, he’d have only wanted to go in Costa anyway. I bought the £6 deal from the Co-op, battered fish, fish fingers, chips, peas and a box of magnum bites. All stuff Mr SA eats so very good value. The duvet is now drying on the washing line along with a load done at home.Had my monthly statement from 🐙 and I’m now £500 in credit.Just had a coffee now time to do some garden tidying.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
Well done on that energy credit. That's a tidy sum to help with Winter. Should get our statement next week. I'm carefully monitoring credit levels V usage, as I'm thinking I will put my DD back up to normal unsubsidized level for the 2nd half of the 6-month period.

Did loads of chopping in the garden and have filled up the garden waste bin. Lopped off some tree branches that were getting far too tall. I’ve been up a ladder with my tree knife 😬 Planted up the winter pansies in pots for the patio. The weather was glorious and quite warm in the sun. I even sat in the garden reading for a bit.Tomorrow will have to be indoor jobs though as I still haven’t cleaned the bathroom. Every time I go to clean it someone is in the blooming shower 😕
I’ve got loads done today and am almost at 20,000 steps.Stir fry for tonight’s dinner. Mr SA is having fish and chips.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
