Happy Saturday 🥂🥳
Bit late posting today, have been busy. It will be a quick one because I’m cooking and watching Strictly - multi-tasking 🤣 Mr SA is recording me The Voice to watch tomorrow.
DS and the GKs came today. Mr SA did something to the smart TV that took me ages to sort out, he is also still mentioning the bomber jacket 😬
Went to the big Mr T for the things I didn’t get yesterday from Lidl because I got a lift home.Curry night tonight and the rose cava will be opened shortly so that’s me asleep before 9pm 😆Today has flown by in a flash. Why do Saturdays go by so fast!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -

@milann Crochet a scrunchy type thing, in the same yarn as your scarf that will fit around your wrists.I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy3 -

Happy Sunday, nice sunny day here ☀️ Bed linen washed and on the line.
Drat I didn’t go through TCB @clyndu but good to know someone else has bought something from them because I’d never heard of them.
Took the dog on the park earlier for a good run, also filled yet another bin liner with plastic water bottles and crisp packets 😡 A fellow dog walker stopped to thank me. I also chatted with a bloke complaining about the litter - but not picking it up!I harvested 4 aubergines and 10 peppers from the greenhouse. Also lots of green tomatoes that I’ve put in a cardboard box in a warm room with an apple to try and ripen (as advised by Google).Put a colour on my hair this morning, the medium blonde I usually use. Was slightly alarmed when Mr SA got up, shuffled past and said morning ginger spice 😱That got me dashing to the mirror to check 😆Finished my book - Designer Genes by Emma Hannigan. It was about a woman with the BRAC1 gene. Sadly Emma passed away 4 years ago aged 45 from breast cancer so a lot of it was written from experience. Such a shame, I do enjoy her books.Tonight’s dinner is garlic salmon, roast potatoes and veg. Making a batch of spicy red lentil and carrot soup for work lunches.Only a 4 day week next week as have booked Friday off 🥳💃I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

Bet it looks good really.
Your garden is doing so well.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

The garden hasn’t done that well this year @Cherryfudge. The courgettes and tomatoes were badly affected by the hot weather 🙁 Obviously the peppers and aubergines liked it.I’m a bit cross with myself today. I haven’t really achieved a lot. I have so much to do, like decluttering and gardening but I just couldn’t get myself motivated. I don’t have much time to get things done in the week with me working full time so weekends are my only chance to catch up on jobs.If nothing else it was NSD 2 of October.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

I think you must have greener fingers than I do, nonetheless - the greenhouse is still producing! The heat and drought didn't do the harvest any favours here either. We had a huge crop of blackberries but many just dried up. Raspberries were super but they came before the hottest weather.
I wouldn't worry about the occasional 'lazy' day. Sometimes you just need to recharge your batteries. Think about it as banking some energy for the coming week.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
