Well the walk to/from the hospital was quite a bit further than I thought. 26,000 steps clocked up and my dodgy ankle isn’t happy about it. This is the ankle held together with screws and plates. It’s been playing up quite a bit just lately. On the plus side we passed through a different high street with lots of independent shops, bars and cafes. So many charity shops too! Also an old red phone box full of books to swap. I wouldn’t mind popping there for a good look round - without Mr SA of course. We had to leave the dog on her own for the first time in ages and she was overjoyed to see us when we got home. It was like we’d just got back from holiday 😆
The dishwasher seems to have righted itself. I unplugged it overnight and it worked after that.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
That's quite a walk. I hope the ankle eases. Maybe a soak in some Epsom salts? And I hope all well for Mr SA.
That's good about the dishwasher. The other week I was bothered about a window that wouldn't close fully but a bit of WD40 (which didn't seem to fix it at the time) and we've not had a problem since the following day.
The phone box full of books sounds fun!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

My local civic centre does them & is where I have had 4 out of my 5 jabs. The odd one was near where a friend lived and he has bad reactions so I wanted to be there after he had his (he won't have another one). As for my flu jab, I had a text earlier today suggesting I booked one.

That’s interesting about the walk ins - my walk in wasn’t advertised when I looked but I saw it the other day so I know it’s there.
Hope you get the results for the scan quickly.
Im not surprised your ankle is objecting 26k and a change in the weather certainly affects joints.January spends - £587.584 -
That's Wednesday done. Was in the office today at the event I organised. Unfortunately not as busy as I'd hoped because of the train strike. Can't be helped though.
Hair appointment straight after work. Spent most of my time there answering questions from my hairdresser and another customer about Ninja air fryers 🤣 Now back home.
Mr SA has just had another fall on the park. He also got caught in a sudden heavy shower, it was sunny when he left the house and there's not a cloud in the sky now!
Sent another oddment to the Christmas pot.
A more modest steps count of 19,000 so far but a few more will be added after FitSteps at 6pm. At least I've had rests in between sets of steps today.
Tonight's dinner is fishcake, wedges and steamed veg, was going to try a new recipe but I don't have the time, energy or inclination tonight, I'm shattered!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
