    Afternoon all.

    WFH today thank goodness.

Have been to Lidl this morning, the cats were almost out of cat food and for some reason most brands they like were out of stock on the Mr M website earlier this week. It got me a good walk in the lovely sunshine though.

Today's exercise is target of 15,000 steps and a live stretch & tone session this lunchtime.

    Tonight's dinner is stir fry.

Need to clean the bedroom and bathroom after work. Have got 3 loads of washing out on the line.

    Finance wise, new totals are:

    Windows/door £2,476.60
    Mortgage £11,196.01
    Additional borrowing £2,769.58

I need to sort out savings as I've got bits and bobs all over the place.

Mr SA is still shaken after his fall yesterday, he was under strict instructions not to get off his scooter when he took the dog on the park this morning!

Mr SA was shocked to get a call from the local hospice earlier. Bearing in mind he’s waiting for scan results. They were actually trying to sign him up to a lottery. Bad timing though.

In pet news the dog’s tablets arrived today, saved £20 by getting a prescription from the vet and buying them online. The cats love the Lidl own make cat food I got them today, although if I went and got a job lot they’d go off it. They start turning food down if I keep giving them the same brand.

Mr M have sent me a £10 off my next £50 online shop which is very welcome.

Work was super busy again today. There just aren’t enough hours in the day for me to get everything done I need to at home and work. No wonder I fall asleep the minute I sit down 🥱

I bet he was scared with a call from the hospice…..definitely bad timing. When will he get the results?

He won’t hear anything unless it’s bad news. He’s been told if 2 weeks has passed assume all is well. His consultant would be informed almost immediately if it was bad news then he’d ring Mr SA. Mr SA could always ring the doctor in a couple of weeks but he normally just leaves it until he sees the consultant.

    Finally it’s Friday 🥂

Worked in the office today, stayed all day again, got quite a lot done without constant interruptions from Mr SA, although I had a couple of incoherent phone calls from him.  I was planning to go to Lidl on the way home but the heavens opened so a colleague kindly offered me a lift home. The rain was horrendous.

Was home for 3.30 so have done a big pile of ironing and some Spanish lessons.

I’ve bought a long waterproof padded coat online from a place called Lighthouse. It was in the sale and I got an extra £10 off as a new customer. I need it for walking to/from work in the winter, my other winter coats aren’t suitable for rain, they’re more jackets than coats. I prefer to try on in a shop but they had exactly what I wanted in the colour I wanted so fingers crossed it’s as good as the reviews say.

Tonight’s dinner is veggie sausages and roast root veg.

Poor Mr SA getting the sales call from the hospice.  It's important that they fundraise but it's an extremely sensitive and personal charity to donate to.

I'm just popping over to the Lighthouse website ..... even though I don't even need a coat 🤦‍♀️.  My Mia tui travel bag (bought after you mentioned them) is lovely ... pastel pink and practical! It's currently on its first trip to Spain 😎

I love my Mia Tui travel bag, it’s been on quite a few trips abroad since I bought it 😆 I have the silver one with the small cross body bag inside which is handy to keep my purse in and as an evening bag on holiday. I shall report back on Lighthouse once I receive the coat.
