Hope your pooch is ok today.
We have noticed ours is starting to slow down a bit now he is getting a bit older. He is daft though and still thinks he is a pup and can go on forever. Guess they are a bit like us. Don't want to admit they are getting older and need to take things a little easier3 -
I missed the whole of your holiday! 😱. But it sounded great - I always enjoyed Greece more rather than Spain when I used to go on hot holidays! Zante was a favourite too. Did Mr SA get his sailor hat in the end? I keep having visions of Captain Birdseye!

No I wouldn’t let him get the hat 😆 Fortunately he didn’t see one in the shops.
The dog seems fine today but we’re not taking her for a run. She has a vet check up this month so will mention it, although I suspect it’s age related. They might be able to prescribe something though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Glad to hear your dog is ok today. Our JRT can still do a good run sometimes but does get tired. She is no longer interested in chase games with other dogs and ignores them mostly after telling them off. Most dogs round here and there are a lot of them stay away from her and she just trots around doing her own thing. I always warn new people she is old and grumpy like her owners.

As much as I loved our holiday in Greece, the things I didn’t like were the single use plastic glasses around the pool and no way to recycle them, the way they let their dogs just roam around, saw one narrowly miss getting hit by a car, having to remember to put loo roll in a bin not flush it away and lastly they still allow people to smoke in restaurants/bars that are partly outdoors - Spain are super strict about this and smokers have to stand a very long way from bars/restaurants.

Morning, happy Saturday 🥂
Plans for today are ClubFit session at 8.45, trip to Mr T incorporating a short walk for the dog, then visit from DS and the GKs. Hopefully the last of the washing will dry so I can put it away. Lots of gardening to be done but that might have to wait until tomorrow.
Rose cava in the fridge already for tonight. Beetroot burger, sweet potato wedges and salad for dinner.
The dog’s paw seemed a lot better yesterday but still not letting her run today. She will have to make do with short strolls.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Do you bring gks back a little souvenirs or is it mostly tat they sell.
We have rain today so no washing going out to dry here.I think you should get commission for the burgers, I bought my son them and he said the were very tasty 👍🏻.4 -

Is there a reason you don't take a scooter out with you?
Also, how do you work out where to hire one from in different countries?
I got a scooter for a family member after hiring one a few times in the UK and so far there's a resistance to taking it abroad with us. I had to borrow a manual chair and do some pushing at a large venue so I feel its worth thinking about taking something with us. But it's hard telling someone what is best for them, so would appreciate knowing a bit more about your thoughts and experiences.
