Yes, I'm sure that NI threshold change impacts July's pay. That's what we're expecting anyway.

Dinner wise I decided to use up fridge/cupboard stores to make a veggie curry with a mini garlic naan. Delicious 😋I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Most people will see a small increase in July as the threshold to pay NI increases, I am sure there was an MSE calculator for it. I did check mine recently and know it goes up by a few £.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Happy Saturday 🥂
I need to go to the big Mr T today but only for a few bits. Mr M have sent me a £11 off £110 spend voucher for next week’s shop so will do a big stock up. I always think there’s no way I’ll spend £110 but it’s surprising how it soon adds up once I add pet food, beer and wine.DS is working today so won’t see the GKs. At least it gives me an extra week to buy DGD’s birthday present. I need to ask what to get her as I haven’t a clue, she has so much stuff. The weather looks good for today so will do some gardening. I’ve grown raspberries for the first time ever and they’re just starting to fruit. I’m not usually lucky with Basil but this year I have loads of it. Sadly no success with Coriander this year, the seeds aren’t germinating at all. Also growing purple sprouting broccoli, courgettes, aubergines, peppers, chives, rosemary, mint and tomatoes- all doing well.Pizza night tonight. Prosecco is already chilling in the fridge.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Have you thought of getting your DGD premium bonds and just a small gift. I cant remeber how old she is but if she is little she wont miss a big gift and your DS & DiL might be glad not to have more stuff. Just a thought.

My GK’s usually get a quite abit of money for birthdays and Xmas. They are allowed a bit of it to go to the toy store and spend, whilst the rest goes to swimming lessons. Both now swim really well and love going to them.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.002
