That's Monday done
Ticked some goal boxes today: NSD, gym at lunchtime and £10 paid off vet's bill balance meaning I can cross a square off my 100 square sheet nowWould've been AFD as well but I've got a tiny bit of wine left over from the weekend, about half a glass, going to drink that shortly, am savouring it
Another one of my goals is to try at least two new recipes a week. I've got loads of cookery books and recipes cut out of magazines. Tonight I made a lentil stew from the Deliciously Ella vegan cookbook. It was very tasty and filling. Made two portions will freeze the other one.
The paint has finally arrived from Wilko
The weather has been really warm here today, still warm outside even now.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

That's Tuesday done
Very busy day at work today, going from one meeting to another. Finished at 3 though to do my first yoga class. So another exercise box ticked plus tonight is an AFDNo wine in the house so not even tempted. I have gin and rum but weirdly never get tempted by them on a weeknight.
Mr SA is moaning about me going to Birmingham on Thursday - I'm not listening, talk to the hand, etc. Can't believe he's sat there wearing a Christmas tshirt in September, especially when it's so warm!!!
Another new recipe tried tonight, a WW one, Mediterranean orzo bake, it was gorgeous. Very cheap too, the orzo was just 55p a bag and I only needed a bit, the veg and passata I already had in stock. I made two portions, I'll have the other one for lunch at work.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Your meal tonight sounds lovely again . I am going to google this one right up my street. Mr SA is getting into the Christmas spirit a little early I think. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Cumbria it's actually a chicken recipe but I left out the chicken as I don't eat meat. I just part roasted some courgettes, red onion, red pepper and cherry tomatoes then added the orzo, passata, fresh rosemary sprigs, veg stock and a splash of balsamic vinegar, then put back in the oven until the orzo was soft. Watch out for the orzo sticking to the dish though, mine did a bit. It was so tasty can highly recommend.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
