SA My late mother used to phone me at work to tell me the most insignificant things (ie the woman next door has just had a delivery from Amazon!). It didn't matter if I was in a meeting with someone. She always thought she was more important. I can see a lot similarities in their behaviour.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0

Just catching up on your week. Hope you feel a bit more settled now than you did a few days ago. I totally get it.

Friday eve
Thanks all - Lucky I feel much better now, the situation gets me down from time to time, you know how it is xx
Felt totally humbled talking to someone at work whose wife is clear from cancer but is left with devastating side effects, makes Mr SA look like a picture of health. She has to be fed through tubes, can't even enjoy food or drink, gets infections all the time and they can't go anywhere let alone a holiday. There's always someone worse off, Mr SA is lucky compared to her.
Toni's friend - my late mum also used to phone me at work all the time. Mr SA has taken over where she left off.
I was hoping the paint I ordered from Wilko would've arrived in time for the weekend but no sign of it, not even a despatched email.
Took the cat to the vets today for her final post op check up. She's been discharged thankfully. On the plus side the check ups were included in the price so nothing to pay - just taxi fares.
Told Mr SA I'm going to Birmingham next week, all he was interested in was what time he'd get his tea!!!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
I hope you manage to juggle your train times to allow an hour for yourself.
Will dd sort Mr SA - does her mystery man still visit?January spends - £587.580 -
Mystery man disappeared a while ago milann - shame as I had my hopes up there. We'll probably have pizza and salad, I won't be that late back. Doubt I'll get time to shop, the meeting is an all day one. However, I'm thinking about having a pre-Christmas secret day off/shopping trip to Birmingham. As I mentioned before it's not far so very doable and I can get a cheap day return if I go off peak times.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

You should definitely have a secret Christmas shopping day in Birmingham, that will give you something to look forward to.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

SA, Wilco online orders take ages to materialise in-store.
You definitely need your day-release trips! What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
