Milann what are you like :rotfl:
Beanie yes I did enjoy the yoga, still prefer Pilates though which I did yesterday. The yoga is a trial they're doing at work to see if it's popular. I suppose I'm lucky I work somewhere that offers Pilates, Zumba and yoga classes plus a gym.
Absolutely exhausted from the Birmingham trip today. So tired. Left the house at 6am. Sat in a meeting all day which luckily finished at 3pm so I wa back home for just after 5. So Mr SA got his dinner earlier than normal.
This is what annoyed me - on arrival in Birmingham I stopped for a coffee and rang Mr SA to let him know I was there, mentioned all the fab shops in the Bullring. He replied never mind shopping get yourself to work. Then when I got home, earlier than expected, I ran myself a bath, mentioned I was exhausted. He said hurry up I'm hungry!!!!!
Perish the thought I should enjoy myself or relax!!
Anyway I didn't get time to shop in Brum. To be honest when you've got a heavy bag with work stuff on your shoulder you don't really want to traipse round the shops. The range of shops was amazing, so many more different ones from where I live. Even the train station is amazing! I feel like I live in the back of beyond!
Friday tomorrowI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

You should definitely plan a day to yourself SA. You have the patience of a saint.
Is Mr SA capable of doing a meal for himself or warming a supermarket ready meal up in a microwave?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Oh Mr SA can heat a meal up.
But whether he would is a whole other question!

Isn't there ANYONE who can help out with Mr SA? You have a breaking point and it sounds as though you are getting very near to it.... and what does he think will happen then?? (((hugs)))I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy0 -
Thanks folks
Like Beanie says I think he could use the microwave with written instructions but he can't be bothered. He likes to put his feet up with a beer of an evening while I do the cooking. If it isn't ready by 7.30 he shuffles into the kitchen to check on progress. Don't worry he gets a right ear bashing from me when he does this.
I'm definitely planning a shopping day on my own. Scarily Mr SA has expressed an interest in going to Birmingham but I'm hoping he'll forget about it.
I've got two lunches with different groups of friends in the calendar - one next Friday and one at the end of October. Looking forward to these
Went out for a drink this lunchtime with some team mates, I was the only woman there and I will admit it was pretty boring. They were just talking about work and who said what to whom. Yawn.
I was hoping to finish work early today but ended up finishing later as I was so busy. Then I got drenched walking home in the storm.
Anyway this time next week I'll have broken up for two weeks
DS, his GF and GS came to take Mr SA to B&Q today to get bits and bobs to help him finish the garden (sand, cement, slab cutter). I gave Mr SA £20 to give them towards petrol and for DS to get himself a few beers. They wouldn't take it so he treated the GKs to a new toy each from B&M. I'm cross with them for not taking the money as they live 25 miles away and don't have much money to spare. DS said his GF was happy to get out for the afternoon and have a look round B&M.
The storm has blown down our bamboo fenceJust glad it's not this week we're going on holiday. Some flights have been cancelled.
Plan for tomorrow is WW, then hairdressers, then make a start on decorating the living room.
Hope everyone has a fab weekendI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
You need a nice shopping day out on your own SA so I'd make the Bullring a solo trip. Have you tried the slow cooker idea yet with Mr SA? As the food will be nice and piping hot and ready, all he'll have to do is dish it up. He really can't expect you to race home every night so that his dinner's ready by 7.30 on the dot!:(
I hear you on the drinks with men only company! It's always work or sport that they talk about. I have the odd drink or two with my boss but drop out of any other work related drinks unless there are other females about!:)
Good luck with the decorating tomorrow! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
