Just heard from ambulance control and he’s been escalated to a priority below people unconscious. Hopefully they’ll be here soon. 

No way am I going to the office today, I’ve only had a couple of hours sleep. Will do half a day WFH.

Still no sign of the ambulance. He’s starting to get distressed now. 6 hours he’s been stuck in the bath.

Omg I didn’t really he was actually stuck in the bath. I’m not surprised he distressed. That’s a terrible time to wait, he’s lucky he has you with him x

Oh no, @Sun_Addict, how horrible to be stuck in the bath all that time & an awful start to the week. I do hope help arrives soon. I think you will defo need today off work because it's an emergency.

So sorry to hear about Mr SA. I hope he And you get some help very soon. I should forget work for today as I dont think you will be fit to do anything.

When they do arrive and get him out make sure they check for the start of pressure sores - it is a long time on a hard surface.

They're taking him into hospital for a check over as his blood pressure is dangerously high and they're concerned about pressure sores. 

I've just logged on to work to cancel my meetings and do a quick job then I'm logging off for the rest of the day. I'll be going to the hospital later. I could've gone in the ambulance but I need to sort the dog out and get showered/dressed.

What a day!
