The kitten is back home and my bank account is £65 lighter plus 2 lots of taxi fares and she still needs spaying! New appointment booked for 2 weeks today, hopefully this time it will go ahead.
In the spirit of this not being one of my better days, we had the bad news this lunchtime that BIL has got bowel cancer. He doesn't know what stage yet.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
So sorry to hear of kitty's poorly leg and your BiLs bowel cancer. Here's to hoping it has been caught early and will respond to treatment.

I hope it’s caught early too. He’s been having various health issues for some time.Another gold star for exercise today, 21,000 steps and a resistance band training session 💪🤣The kitten is making up for her nil by mouth last night and eating like a horse😆
Only spent £12.56 in B&M, there were things I would’ve liked to pick up but had to be mindful I was walking and carrying them home. I didn’t buy anything exciting mainly household stuff.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

Happy hump day.
WFH again today. It should be NSD 7/12, no plans to go anywhere other than take the dog for a walk.
I've got a few phone call type jobs to do today: doctors for Mr SA, chemist for Mr SA as his prescription has run out yet again, ring charity shop to pick up some donations, get someone to come and quote for living room refurb.
I've been hanging my nose over a kitchen island/breakfast bar for absolutely ages and finally decided I could buy it if I shuffled a few money pots about only to find it's not back in stock for another 15-16 weeks. Just typical! I wish I'd included one when I had the new kitchen, there's plenty of space for one and it would be so handy.
