Happy Tuesday.
WFH today.
Mr M delivery has been and put away. Only one sub and that was like for like dishwasher tablets, slightly more expensive ones but discounted so they were only a few pence more than the ones I ordered. Nothing missing. Had a £2 off fruit and veg voucher to use on the order plus staff discount which is very welcome.
We will be getting the council tax bill today according to the council so will see how much that's increased. The £150 discount (or whatever it is) is being credited to our bank account in the next couple of weeks.
The kitten is going to be spayed shortly and I feel so nervous anyone would think it's me going for an op! I'll be on tenterhooks until they ring me to go and pick her up. I'm getting a taxi there then walking back. The vets is near a B&M so will be paying a visit there which I'm quite excited about because I don't get to go in one that often 😆 Had to feed the older cat outside as she wouldn't stop pestering me for food, the kitten has been ok about it she's too busy running around the house like a mad thing. The dog is still in bed so not bothered about food yet.
Washing is out on the line, got another load to do shortly, making the most of the dry weather.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

Good luck for today, I would be the same. It’s awful putting our furries through things even if it’s for their own good. They never fall out with us for long, but the guilt is real. Get plenty of treats in b&m to cheer you up.Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Why does nothing ever run smoothly. I’ve only just got back from the vets and they’ve called to say they’re not going ahead with the op because the kitten has a temperature. She’s got a sore on her leg that I never noticed and they think it’s infected. So she’s having an antibiotic injection and a steroid injection and they will re-book the spaying for 2 weeks time, assuming the infection has cleared up 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

The vet thinks she has a very sensitive skin so is over-grooming herself hence the sores. I could've had a course of antibiotics and steroids for her in tablet form but thought it was better/easier to have the injections, more expensive but at least I know the medication is in her and not spat out under the sofa!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Oh no poor kitten hopefully she will be able to have her op in a couple of weeks 😟 I didn't realise there was going to be a payment involved in the council tax discount,I thought they were just giving us money off the bill so we would pay lessOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1204
