I’m remembering our 1st dog who used to love to bury biscuits and bread crust in the bed…..these pets are so particular RS 😂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Morning, happy February 😎
Whose idea was it to have a Mr M delivery at 6am 🥱 On the plus side no subs or missing items and everything packed away well before 7am. I had a £5 off online orders voucher to use so with this and the staff discount it brought the total down nicely.
Loads of direct debits have gone out today so the current account balance looks a lot less healthy than it did yesterday. Another £100 overpayment has gone to the additional borrowing part of the mortgage, need to check the balance on that. £250 has gone into the regular saver, new total £2000. An oddment has gone to the Christmas pot new total £97.28. Should be able to send £100 to the emergency fund but will have until the 14th to do this.
Have placed an order with WW as I'm running out of my Belgian praline choc bars (I love these) and they have 20% off at the moment. Have been hanging my nose over their new cookbook so added that to my order while there's money off - yes another cookbook 🙄
Going to take 30 minutes break later this morning to go for a walk with the dog. Will also take her out at lunchtime and after work. Other exercise will be a live WW bums & tums session at lunchtime plus a live resistance band session at 5pm.
Making a carrot, swede and lentil soup for lunch. I think I'm going to have a jacket potato with tuna, coleslaw and a huge salad tonight (unless I change my mind). I've got loads of carrots, some swede and salad stuff to use up. Mr SA is having slow cooker chicken stew.
Being up so early this morning I finished my latest book The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend by Katrina Bivald. I really enjoyed it, quite a quirky but nice book about books. If it was a film it would be one of those feelgood films. Starting another book now, Lullaby by Leila Slimani - this one sounds a bit darker.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Morning, happy Wednesday.
One of those weird date days today - 2/2/22 😆
Should be NSD 1/12 for February today.
Had to buy Mr SA some motorcycle goggles last night as he was complaining about the wind getting in his eyes when he's on his scooter and making them sore (oh dear). To say he's a big bloke he's very delicate, the slightest thing causes him discomfort. I got him some goggles last year but, as with everything else he owns, he didn't look after them and they broke.
Today's exercise apart from dog walking is a stretch class and a live WW Dance Fit class early evening. I ache a bit this morning from the bums and tums and the resistance band class. Determined to hit 15k minimum steps target every day.

I remain in awe at your 15k, with my manky ankle and SOA for work I am lucky if I make 1.5k these days. How the mighty are fallen, used to regularly do 100k per week

Morning, happy Friday eve
Going to take an early lunch break and go to Lidl later. It's the last day to spend the £10 off voucher or I'll lose it. I need to get quite a few things so will easily spend £10. Good for the step count too as it's a fair distance away. Mr SA will bring the dog to meet me and pick up the bags so the dog will get a good walk back.
I really need to start prepping for the interview next week, I've been so busy working I just haven't had much time to think about what I'm going to say, although there's no way to prepare for the questions as there are no set ones. I wish they'd just talk to you about the role and how you'd carry it out, I hate having to come up with scenarios just to tick the boxes.
Exercise today will be mainly walking although I plan to do a yoga session after work as I really need to practice stretching, my flexibility is rubbish. I've always been the type that has plenty of stamina and energy but stiff as a board flexibility wise.
Looking forward to another live WW cook along tonight, it's a slow cooker recipe. Wish I'd waited until today to place the WW online order as they're now offering 30% off, I got 20%, annoying when that happens.
Making an old favourite spicy butternut squash stew with herb dumplings for tonight's dinner. I can use up some slightly out of date yoghurt to make the dumplings. Mr SA is having his favourite sausage and mash in a giant Yorkshire pudding.

Additional borrowing £ 4,883.55 (overpaying by £100 a month is really bringing this down)
Windows £ 3,719.96
Emergency fund £6,000.00
Regular Saver £2,000.00
Holidays £2,071.00 (this will go down in a couple of weeks as Lanzarote balance is due)
House £ 310.00
General spends £ 300.00
Christmas £ 97.28
There are other pots for groceries etc but not including these as they fluctuate so much.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8
