On the money front, finances have been checked and there was an overspend on last week’s grocery budget of £28.35 so have rejigged the next 3 weeks to absorb this. Sent an oddment of £7.48 to the Christmas pot which now holds £81.13.I’ve put 6 items of bulky waste on the drive for collection by the council tomorrow. No doubt the scrapman will take some of it but they’re welcome to it if it’s useful. Feels good to get rid of some clutter. The dog got a really good run on the park at lunchtime. It was lovely in the sun, I nearly took my coat off at one point.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Hurrah on the interviews!
Mr fluffy pants has to have (fighting, again?!) his anti biotics injected because he will not have tablets, but he loves his pain relief stuff and purrs and begs for it out of the syringe. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Both jobs are private office PA. I’d prefer the first one as I wouldn’t be straying too far from where I am now and I know at least 3 of the people I’d be working with, but the second is the one where the bloke I’d be working for contacted me to invite me to apply, I get on really well with him and a few others in his department. It’s a role that doesn’t appeal to everyone as you’re looking after and organising a senior civil servant. It doesn’t phase me as I’ve been doing it for years and I make sure they behave themselves 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8
