normally the medicine has a top that the syringe clicks on to…is that bit missing? It’s like a round circle in the middle, you put the syringe on it and then can tip it upside down to draw it out. If they’ve given you a dodgy bottle they should replace it.
I found a small empty bottle in my holiday toiletries stash, decanted the medicine into there and successfully got the first dose down her this morning. Wrapped her tight in a towel and got Mr SA to hold her while I shot the medicine in her mouth. She wasn’t happy 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
It should just click on if it has a top like this…then it won’t spill as you tip it to draw the liquid out with the syringe. I’m sure the vet gave us a tutorial the first time 🤣Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

That’s the one @WinterWarrior. I think it must’ve been my lack of technique 😬I’ve been all over today trying to find swing bin liners, out of stock everywhere locally. Decided to walk up to Aldi this afternoon and they have stacks so I picked up 3 rolls. On the plus side all this walking about as well as taking the dog for a run on the park means I’ve done over 22k steps.Still on the Afterlife subject, I downloaded Ricky Gervais My Life in a Mixtape on BBC Sounds app to listen to while I was walking. He was playing the songs he chose for the series and the story behind them. Really interesting.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Morning 🥱
Have been up a while thanks to the kitten deciding it was time for me to get up. She was climbing along the top of the headboard and upsetting the dog. I removed her and was just drifting back to sleep when she came back in and started clambering on the headboard again, fell off and landed on Mr SA’s head 🤣 So I’m up drinking coffee and reading my book.It will be NSD 5/15 today. Not doing very well at all this month. Still time to catch up though as there are another 200 days left in January.I must remember to get the broken sun loungers out of the shed as the council are coming to collect them and a few other bits on Tuesday. They do a free bulky waste collection in January which is very handy as not having a car means I can’t get to the tip.I’ve got 3 free days of Duolingo Plus as I hit my 500 day streak yesterday. I’ve actually been learning Spanish since March 2020 but lost my streak when we went to Greece and there was no WiFi in the room.
I need to do a meal plan for next week and do the general cleaning/tidying I didn’t do yesterday plus take the dog on the park a couple of times. Not walking miles today (famous last words 😆).
Got another WW live cook along at 6pm. I enjoy watching them and picking up ideas, I never actually cook along.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
I was also woken by unhelpful feline activity, @Sun_Addict, so I sympathise.

I am afraid our two felines are banned from both our bedroom and outside it at night - they love getting us up at dawn for breakfast otherwise 😆

@Sun_Addict a friend of mine had 2 kittens that managed to work a hole into a formerly intact mattress, just beneath the pillows. They would then punch up forcefully at 5am to announce that their day had started and where, pray, was their breakfast...9
