Glad the interview went well and hope you get the job. The audacity of Mr SA thinking he has to have something if you treat yourself. You are always treating him to his various demands. Must be like living with an overgrown toddler.

Happy Friday 😁

Mr SA is indeed like an overgrown toddler, the old him wasn't like this at all, he liked me to have new things. He has become very selfish and wants all the attention/buying focussed on him. It's not as if he does anything to help, he just sits there watching TV and making a mess for me to clear up. 

I have a longish work meeting this morning and the rest of the working day will be spent catching up on various admin bits that have been on a back burner while my attention was focused on the job application.

Today should be NSD 5/15 for January. I haven't had as many NSDs as I'd hoped by now so will need to get my skates on to hit target.

Today's to do:

• Quick look at finances - DD has paid her board so will shuffle this into the holiday pot
• Lunchtime dog walking
• Strength and stretch exercise sessions
• Spanish
• Read book
• Sort out freezers
• General clean/tidy around
• Washing/ironing

Making one of my favourite recipes tonight - Harissa Prawn Orzo from the Skinny Kitchen Secrets website.

Might put a bottle of fizz in the fridge for tonight and make it Fizz Friday 😎

The NSD has been thwarted 😐 DD noticed the kitten had a huge lump on her leg, looked quite sore. Managed to get her in at the vets this lunchtime and £40 later we're back home with antibiotics. The vet thinks it's an abscess caused by play fighting with the older cat, looks like the older cat has bitten her but just caught her rather than done it nastily. The kitten has a slight temperature so the vet assumes it's infected but not that badly.
