Happy Tuesday.
I still feel rough, going to do another test later. Good job today's lunch was cancelled. I cancelled the day's leave, I've got plenty of work to catch up on and only a few days left to do it. Mr SA is still in bed so no idea whether he still feels rough.
No Mr M delivery today as I moved it to Wednesday when I thought I was going out. I would've liked to have gone to Lidl today as the £10 off £40 spend voucher expires tomorrow, don't feel up to it though. I think I would've struggled to spend £40 in there though, you can't use it on alcohol so can't pop a bottle of gin in the basket to get it over £40. So it might be another NSD.
The kitten is running all over the house like a wild thing, the older cat has made it quite clear she's not interested in playing by swiping her 😆

A couple of friends of ours had an odd one. He felt rough and was convinced it was Covid. He was doing daily tests and they all came back negative. His other half felt fine but was testing anyway and she came up with a positive result (confirmed by PCR) yet she had no symptoms and was fit and healthy. He never did test positive either through LFT or PCR yet was convinced he had it with his symptoms.
I know I am coming down with something. My test this morning was negative. I will do another test tomorrow as a double check. The other half has tested negative but neither of us feels in top form.5 -
I don’t want to tempt fate but I’ve felt much better since I took the dog on the park at lunchtime. I even did Keep Fit with Rick’s Christmas combat after work. When I took the dog out at lunchtime Mr SA said he wasn’t joining us as he didn’t feel up to it. I told him I wasn’t taking my keys with him staying home. He joined us later, forgot what I said about the keys and the front door was unlocked 😱 He blamed it on me, apparently I should’ve locked the door and not just tell him I hadn’t 🤔Have made an old favourite Harissa orzo bake for dinner tonight.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Happy Wednesday.
I feel almost back to normal now. Going to have a walk to the big Mr T in a bit, post a couple of cards, recycle some batteries and see if I can pick a few Christmas bits up.
Getting a bit behind with the presents although it doesn't help that DD has said there's nothing she wants (she says this every year!). She's really hard to buy for as she's not into smellies apart from perfume, she rarely wears make up. I usually end up buying her a pair of PJs and a bottle of wine just as a token gift. I need to get something for Mr SA to open on Christmas Day, he's already had the jacket, something for DD and a small gift to finish off DIL's present.
Mr M delivery coming later with no subs or missing items. It's been so much better since they changed their systems a few weeks ago, only been one week in the last 8 with one sub. Long may it continue.
We're being urged to volunteer to help out at the vaccination centres at work, we'll get paid leave for it. Unfortunately I can't volunteer as there aren't any near me since the local one went back to being a leisure centre again. I wouldn't fancy giving the jabs 😮but there's plenty of other things you can do.
Hoping for a quiet day work wise as I really need to get on with organising some events for next year (for work). I'm in a meeting tomorrow and have a slot on the agenda to talk about what I've got booked and at the moment it's not a lot.
