We will meet up in the New Year. Disappointed because this was my only Christmas meal/drink with friends - won’t get one now. I could still take the day off and go somewhere on my own but it’s not the same. Might as well be at work. I was really looking forward to it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I’ve just cancelled a short break we had booked to London at the beginning of January. Will go later on in the year. Not got many places to go the next week or so which suits me fine, not a great lover of shopping. Would rather the money stayed in my account, so different to how I used to be. Having GD this week as her school have had over 20 confirmed cases this weekend, 3 in her class so parents want to keep her home as mum is expecting and is trying hard not to catch Covid.xx

Sorry your meet up has been cancelled.
I know lots of people that are having to cancel plans and rearrange for the New Year.
We are still undecided about our planned trip over New Years. It would be nice to get away and have a break but equally we don't want to end up stranded somewhere if we do catch Covid while we are out and about.
There does seem to be so much of it going round at the moment. I can't remember a time since this started when we have personally known so many people who have it.3 -
Happy Monday
Have woken up feeling rough again. Hot, achy, wobbly legs, headache and generally feeling carp. I've done a LFT just waiting for the results. It's only got another 5 minutes to go and still showing negative.
Probably for the best tomorrow is cancelled given the way things are Covid-wise at the moment. It would mean me having to travel via train which doubles the risk.
Today should be NSD 4/10. We tried to fix the kitchen blind yesterday but no joy. The old Mr SA probably would've been able to do something even if it was just temporary. It's been up 5 years so no longer under guarantee, probably time for a change anyway.
Cleaning is the bathroom if I feel up to it.

Put your feet up and have a break.5 -
Forgot to add - it's 2 years ago today since I was hit by the car on the way to work, broke my leg, split my head open and started off my trial run of lockdown.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
