I’d be tempted to get in touch via the open appointment system and let them know you couldn’t get a GP appointment 😡😡 I know hospitals are doing a great job under the circumstances but some things need looking at 🤬

private clinic in town for the gp appointment, I’ve seen them a few times and they are really nice t make his day.
Can I ask you how much a private GP appointment costs you? It's the most unsatisfactory part of the NHS and I have often thought it would be lovely to get an appointment at a time which suited me.
@Scottiedog_3 £100 - £150 for 30 mins plus any prescription. Depends on the practice. I have an NHS GP and access to healthline through my health insurance. Found my NHS GP and NHS care in general to be a bit brusque and not very patient centred tbh my health insurance has been an absolute godsend this year care from professionals has been brilliant and would have cost me an obscene amount of money as unlikely NHS would have given the resources I have had through my health insurance. 100% worth the cost of the policy.

@alt80 How does that work? Is there an entirely separate GP practice working privately which you can access or are the GPs also working within the NHS - like consultants who work partly in the NHS and partly in e.g. Nuffield hospitals?

Just had a nice relaxing bath with a face pack. Good job there’s a warning on the pot because I look as though I’ve got a bad case of sunburn 🤣🤣 Just realised it says leave on 5-10 minutes, I may have left it on a tad longer 😱

We didn’t go to the Christmas market in the end. Mr SA wasn’t keen and I wasn’t that bothered to go on my own. His coat has arrived and he likes it, hopefully he won’t break the zip.

I’m feeling a bit disappointed as the day out with friends on Tuesday has been cancelled - again ☹️ It couldn’t be helped but still disappointing. I’m going to swap my day off for the following Tuesday to go to my cousin’s funeral.

Put some fairy lights up in the covered area outside where the spare freezer and Mr SA’s scooter live. They look really nice. Mr SA originally put them up but made a right dog’s dinner of them so I had to take them down and start again 🤦‍♀️
