Verbatim - he mixes it with fresh beer the next day. He does some strange things, I've got used to it.
Don't even ask about the cat and the vets. The dental estimate is £481  This is because she has to have a battery of blood tests first to make sure she's suitable for anaesthetic. Liver and kidney tests etc - I'm praying those tests come back clear as if they don't it will be even more expensive as they'll have to treat that first
It would be a lot cheaper to buy a new cat!! Sorry cat I don't mean that
What can you do but to pay out though. The vet said she has a lot of plaque and they've quoted for removing two teeth which they might not have to take out in the end. I had allowed for about £300 in my head but didn't think about blood tests. And this is with a discount because I have the vet plan.
On a lighter note, spent my £40 in vouchers finally - got a pair of trousers and two tops in the Dotty P sale.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Lost a pound at WW today so back to being a pound under goal
Probably sweated it off LOL
Weather has been awful this afternoon, rain, wind, grey
Went to local fair with DS and the family. Took the GKs on the runaway train, GS hated it. Then took GD on the speedway which we both loved, was tempted to have another go
Then back to ours as it started raining. DS helped Mr SA with lifting some old paving slabs ready to replace with new ones.
Not a lot else to report, felt quite lazy today.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Glad that you enjoyed the fair
