    Morning (just), happy hump day.

The kitten has been for her first visit to the vet this morning. Thankfully she's in good health. She's had her first vaccination and I've got some flea and worm treatment for her. Got to take her back in 3 weeks for the next jab. Need to book her in to be spayed and microchipped but will get this sorted after Christmas.

I've got the hairdressers after work and Amazon have just taken payment for the new Pinch of Nom book out tomorrow, I've had it on order since May.

So definitely not a NSD today, can you see those £s flying about 😆

You should get the new book tomorrow then. I’ll look forward to hearing about what you make from it 😋

This will make you laugh. I’ve been saving a parcel that arrived earlier to open later when I sat down thinking it was my monthly beauty box subscription. The December one is always a bit special so was looking forward to opening it. Imagine my disappointment when I opened it to reveal my quarterly subscription to dog poop bags 🤣🤣

  • 🤣 oh, I can imagine your joy when you opened them.

    Morning, happy Thursday.

Just been informed it's back to full time WFH again. Not much change for me as we were only in the office 1 day a week and I haven't been in for the past 2. Not in the least bit surprised.

Dentists appointment this morning - boo. Need to do a bit of local shopping after that so yet another spends day.

New Pinch of Nom book arriving today - woo hoo. I have so many cookbooks but still get excited at the prospect of a new one.

Have sent £100 to the emergency fund and £7.63 to start off the Christmas 2022 pot.

The dog woke me up at 3am to be let out. I knew she would as she wouldn't go out last night in the rain. I noticed she was straining to poop and this morning there was a poop with a streak of blood in it outside the bathroom door. This was happening at the beginning of the year and turned out to be nothing but will keep an eye on it.

DD has been coughing all night. She said she felt a bit better yesterday, still no sense of taste or smell though. She should get her postal test results today, she had to chase it up yesterday, I expect they're pretty busy right now. If it's confirmed as the omicron variant I believe Mr SA and I will have to isolate for 10 days despite being double jabbed and no symptoms. A work friend was posting photos on FB last week of her out partying with a large group of people and now has Covid unsurprisingly.

Mr SA has broken the zip on his winter coat. He breaks the zips on every coat he possesses, he struggles with his hands, I don't know how to get round this as he struggles even more with buttons. Will have to research clothing for the disabled.

Also on the Mr SA subject, he's discovered a lump on top of his head near the two holes he has in his skull from the surgery. We should be at the doctors tomorrow for the booster jabs (subject to DD's test results) so will book him an appointment while we're there. It's a nightmare trying to get through by phone.

Oh and the dog has just been sick 😫
