DD's PCR test has come back positive. It doesn't say which variant it is. I was looking at the new guidelines and apparently we don't have to self isolate but we have to take a LFT every day and isolate if positive. I've ordered some LFTs and will incorporate the dog's lunchtime walk with picking them up. Our local chemists closes on Thursday afternoons isn't that just typical🙄
Hopefully we'll be negative and still get to have our boosters tomorrow. Mr SA is really cross with DD but it's not like she was out partying and caught it, she obviously picked it up at work, so not her fault.
One day my life will run smoothly 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

I vote for velcro too - also useful on shoes for some people. Only close it together before laundering it - amazing what a great lint trap it is.
I hope DD and the dog are soon feeling better. The sense of taste can take seriously ages to get back: DS2 had around eight months without proper taste after Covid and a colleague had a bit longer, but they both caught it pre-vaccine so it may be less so now.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. The dog has been spayed @Scottiedog_3. I always get my pets spayed the minute they're old enough. She's a martyr to her digestive system unfortunately.
Mr SA has had a few coats with zips and velcro. If I can I help him with his coat but it's not always convenient when I'm working and he likes to maintain a little bit of independence.
We set off at lunchtime to pick up the tests and got halfway there when I realised I'd left my phone with the pick up code on at home. If I had a brain I'd be dangerous 😆 Had to send Mr SA back on his scooter and get him to catch me up while I carried on walking.
I can't believe Mr SA seriously thought you had to test your urine, oh my days 🤣
Anyway we will be doing the tests tomorrow morning so we have the results before we go for our boosters. Which basically means I'll be testing both of us.
The PON book is here, have had a quick flick through and looks fab so far, even Mr SA has seen some things he likes the look of.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Me and DH had the Covid booster on Tuesday and both been rough since. Still glad to have had it. DGD, just told that the pantomime they should be going to next week with school is cancelled, such a shame as they usually go the beginning of December but this year decided to go later and DGS pre school nativity has also been cancelled. Think they are looking into showing it on line. Hope all goes well with your tests and you both test negative.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.002

Have you ever tried attaching a key ring to Mr SA zips so he has something more substantial to pull up and down.
Hope dd is feeling better soon 👍January spends - £587.585 -
I wondered that Milann. The poppy appeal had plastic poppies that were on a clip and could attach to the bottom of a zip - gives something to pull on. Would duffle coat type fastenings be easier?4

He struggles with getting the zip in the whatever it’s called you put it in before you zip it up. Sorry that’s not the best description 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
