I'm not going to comment on Mr SA & the bomber jacket!  If he is unstable on his feet can he not go in on his scooter.  I use one from time to time when my back/leg is bad & I can get parallel to the table & turn the seat, is there anything similar that he can do?  If possible it could save msiadventures!
He always goes out on his scooter. He can’t go anywhere without it, his mobility is too bad. Best not to think about the bomber jacket 😬

I would agree that maybe sending a plain note to your cousins would be more tactful than Happy Christmas cards especially as they so recently bereaved.  I also think you are brilliant to fit so much in with all you have to  cope with. Mr  SA, string and bomber jacket sounds so random.

Glad you enjoyed Love Actually.  That is one of my favourites too although my eldest daughter has come home this weekend  to help me put up the Christmas decorations as DH recovering from open heart surgery still and she wants Home Alone tonight.
I love Home Alone too. I hope your DH continues to improve after his surgery.

I had a cough and felt rubbish last week but ok now. I’m hoping I didn’t pass it on to her. Probably more likely she’s brought it in because she works in a supermarket and several of her colleagues have had it.

She doesn’t seem that bad, coughing quite a bit. She was working with someone last week had it. It was inevitable she was going to bring it in, she works in a supermarket and exposed to it constantly. She’s done well to not get it so far.
