Hope you have a good time with the family XXXNevertheless she persisted.4 -
Make sure Mr SA gets those spots looked at.
Our dog hasn't been so keen on going out today either. We had to drag him out half an hour ago for a wee. Silly dog was busting!
The Christmas Market sounds good. Hope you have got better weather for it than we are having here 😲4 -

The GKs fell in love with the kitten, as did DIL. We went to the Christmas market, it was really good to say it was just at a local park. Lots of indoor stalls and a pop up coffee shop. Cost me a blooming fortune though. Paid for the GKs to have their faces painted then bought the hot drinks, DS wanted mulled wine, which was £4.75 😱 and Mr SA wanted a sausage roll with his coffee. Mr SA knocked his coffee over and it went all over his trousers 😩 He insisted on having another one to replace it. Then he knocked over the plant DS had bought and got soil all over the table. It’s getting to the stage where he’s a liability to take out and he’s very embarrassing at times with the things he does and says. The weather was nice when we arrived but when we emerged from the market it had been raining and so windy it blew some of the Christmas trees down. We just managed to get home in time before it started to rain again. The dog enjoyed it apart from encountering the biggest dog ever. The big dog was so gentle though, I think it was a Newfoundland.Mr SA wants to go in town tomorrow but I’ve told him no. I need a day to catch up on stuff at home and would like to put my feet up tomorrow afternoon and watch a Christmas film.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Oh and I’ve ordered a Christmas veg box from a local veg box suppliers. Being delivered Christmas week.
I also heard of some lovely local news. A lady who stands outside local shops selling the Big Issue mentioned to someone she couldn’t afford a Christmas tree for her family so a local greengrocers are donating one to her plus they’ve set up a fund for people to donate to make sure she and her family have a nice Christmas. That’s what Christmas is all about.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
That’s a lovely story. Like you say - what Christmas is about 🎄❤️🎄
im impressed you dodged the rain to enjoy the Christmas market. It’s been horrendous here all day and not stopped once 🌧💨🌧January spends - £587.584 -
It was lovely here until around 2pm. We were very lucky to miss the rain. Mr SA seems to be getting worse with his mobility and other brain related things. On a lighter note the dog who loves Molton Brown, smelled it in my bath tonight and got in after me 🤣It’s so funny how she sniffs the air and hassles me to get in. She’s nice and clean after a wash with her dog shampoo and ready for her flea treatment tomorrow. The Molton Brown only comes out at the weekend or when I’ve had a rubbish day, a bit like wine really 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

It was my village’s Xmas Fayre and parade today. Took the GK’s, like you SA it’s not a cheap afternoon but worth it for the memories. Unfortunately weather was that bad that some of the stalls were already closing, where usually they are there till after the parade Which starts at 6. Felt sorry for the organisers who have spent the last 11 months planning it.
I started following you SA just as Mr SA took ill, how times fly.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.004 -
I'm so sorry to hear about your cousin, SA.
That's lovely about the Big Issue seller, aren't people nice. Here, the town has a regular visit from Father Christmas about his time of year but this year's was poorly organised and a lot of people are upset - so someone has filled their garden with Christmas inflatables and lights and is organising Santa to come and give selection boxes to children to make up. Good to hear such thoughtfulness.
I hope you have a lovely peaceful afternoon tomorrow.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Been up since 5.30, wide awake at 5 so decided to get up. For some bizarre reason my Fitbit alarm went off at 5, I would never set an alarm for that time on a Sunday so very strange.I don’t want to go any further than the park across the road today. I’ve got loads to do in the house. I haven’t even written out my Christmas cards yet, although hardly any to send so won’t take long.It should be NSD 2/10. Hoping so as next week is a potentially spendy one. I’ve been eying up a slow cooker on the WW app and have been waiting for free delivery and it’s free delivery this coming week so will finally purchase it next week. The latest Pinch of Nom book is arriving on Thursday, I’ve had it on pre order since May. Vets and hairdressers on Wednesday.I’m hoping to put my feet up this afternoon and watch Love Actually for the umpteenth time. Never get tired of it 🎄I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
