I passed on a £9.45 one this morning because it was 90 minutes long and I hadn't had my breakfast yet. Not especially well paid given the length, either (and I've just looked it up and seen that the average completion time has risen to 96 minutes, which puts it into underpaying territory.) Still 5 places left, if anyone fancies a look...
Also had to pass on a £7.50 / 52 minute one later on because it turned up just before lunch. And there was a £9.70 / 75 minute "Attentional Performance" one last night that I returned because I was tired and I just had a feeling it was likely to be torture by tedium.
Where are you finding the average completion times?

Hover your mouse above the time clock on the study

The time shown at the top of the description is the current average completion time for the study. If you hover your mouse pointer over it, it also shows you the researcher's estimated completion time, and the maximum allowed time.

I've just spotted that if you hover over the reward icon, that also gives interesting info.

Does anybody know what the Prolific minimum pay rates are? I've seen reference to adjustments due to minimum pay rates without knowing what they are.

£6 per hour is the bare minimum rate you should get as a participant.

Have you filled out your "About you" section? That is where they get the info over who to target surveys at?

If you get a spare few minutes, just sit and refresh a couple of times.  That usually brings a few surveys up for me.

Has anyone else been doing the  '[Feel free to repeat] Talk to the AI & choose the best response' survey that takes 1 hr and pays £15 (paid immediately)?   Been doing it twice a day for the last 5 days = £150  :) , very welcome at the moment!!
