  • I just signed up for Prolific Academy, they asked me for a photo of my driving licence and a photo of me.  I was a bit worried in case it was a con so have held off for now but I've just see this thread so I presume it's OK to give them these things? I would love some advice thank you

I can't recall what they asked me for but they are bona fide.

I just had a study this morning - not expecting anything now the unis are all on holiday.  But it was easy and took about 35 minutes.

  • It's weird, I've been doing studies and getting paid for over 4 years on Prolific and they've never asked me to upload a photo or anything like that. My email and phone number show as verified on my account page, but there's no link to verify my ID. Maybe they've only started doing that relatively recently, and those of us who were already signed up have escaped it.
  • I had to show passport etc when I signed up @Its_time, that was in September

  • Some good surveys today.  Two similar ones for £12 each and instantly paid.  Didn't take the 60 minutes more like 35.

  • There does seem to be a lot of those LRL Humans studies lately. I've earned nearly £100 from them, mostly from today. All approved within a couple of hours as well.

Not seen those, what are they about? Maybe I don't fit their profile.

I had these too/two.  Was a bit reluctant to go for the second one - completed it and then got the same completion code... turns out both were paid... WOW!  Later got another one from the same researcher but it was far too complicated for my small brain!

I got the third, but did it.  Same completion code again.  I did worry about the same code as I haven't noticed that before, but all duly paid.  Just did another for business to business for £11 and a theoretical survey for £11.80.  Been a lucrative and easy day.
