I've had three of these today, various but similar subjects by the same author. Failed the attention check which is immediately after the very short intro - on all occasions. I always take screen shots.
You don't get notified until you have finished. A naughty way of gaining info and failing (assuming those participants failed). I didn't fail but was told I did. Anyhow, sent a message saying I was disappointed in the failings and would report to prolific. All three have been paid almost immediately, despite me returning them as per the instructions.
Beware. Watch out for this one, take screenshots and challenge.

They may only be small amounts but they do add up. I've only been doing the surveys for a month but have made nearly £60 already.

The Monash Amsterdam Study
By monash.edu£4.30 • £8.21/hr31 mins42 placesPLAY GAMES FOR SCIENCE!We want to better understand how your decision-making impacts your day-to-day behaviours, habits, and well-being. To do this, we will ask that you complete two computer games that assess cognitive control and reward valuation (two key aspects that influence decision-making), as well as some short questionnaires about your daily habits and wellbeing. The study will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.Well, back to the grind after the festive madness that I enjoy less and less each year and this was waiting when I logged on.Unfortunately I could not get the football game to play and this was most likely due to my ancient laptop that I use for Prolific.I could see the installed RAM monitor bar on my laptop rising higher and higher and it is never a good sign and as expected everything ground to a halt.Sadly I had to return the study, but I am sure others with more capable machines will have more luck0 -
I've had very few Studies since Christmas Eve, and the few I have completed include one for 20p, 15p, 45p and 24 pence. So all low paying. Even so I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth.
Also, unusual because the 'Baker from Pie, A.I, Select a Scenario' ones normally approve submission and pay immediately, I have four (£5 each) still awaiting review from around 16th December. It may be because of a Christmas/New Year holiday delay. It's just unusual for these Baker from Pie Studies not to approve and pay immediately on submission.
I guess I need to be patient.

I've also not had many studies since Christmas Eve, although I did get a nice £4.50 one on the 28th and I'm on two long term studies that both needed the next part completing over Christmas, so that has kept me busy.
Hopefully it will pick up soon.1 -
That sounds better, willowcat27. Glad you had some long term ones to fall back on and the £4.50 on 28th was good.
I'm sure you are right in that the AI ones taking longer than they usually do to approve is because of an extended Christmas break.
I can't complain because, before the AI ones, hardly any Studies I submitted were paid immediately.0
