I didn't see that study but I wonder if they gave you a reason for refusing to pay?Racheljaa said:Hi, did anyone else do the study on perception #1061, as they are refusing to pay so I'm going to complain. I've done over a thousand studies and never had a rejection so I think they're trying it on.0 -
They said I intentionally didn't complete it properly, which I actually find quite insulting as I remember doing it and like all studies did it properly. It was one where you have to pick photos, so there should be a pattern as I used the same mental criteria for my selections.....I've filed a complaint.Deleted_User said:

That's disappointing. I hope they sort it out for you, Racheljjaa.
I did one study a while ago and, although I persevered for nearly an hour, I just couldn't get my head round the complicated instructions. I didn't fail any intention checks but I had to Return the Study because I knew I would not be able to complete it.
I let the Researcher know and I was pleased and surprised that my 'Returned' Study was changed manually to 'Approved' and the Researcher paid me the full amount. Some Researchers are very generous and others less so.

Yes they have the completion code. As I say, over 1100 paid submissions and this is the first such complaint, which is why I think they don't want to pay.Makingabobor2 said:

Wish I hadn't posted now, having to defend myself. If I put the same effort in that I did to all my other work, why would I intentionally put bad answers in. No more comments please. It was just a heads up to see if others had experienced the same that was all.sammyjammy said:

Just caught another Pie one, like these. 1,500 places still available on the one I just did.theonlywayisup said:There seems to be a huge amount of AI studies available. There were 8 available last night, I managed to get three, other half got two. They ranged in price from £3.75 to £11. I've never seen that many studies at once :-)

Those Pie ones are by far the best ones I've done on Prolific: mostly interesting / thought-provoking, always well paid, always immediate payment0
